If you can find older readings, you'll read what indeed P.O. Ackley found in his research on the 30-06AI. Its quite an anomaly. I built one just on that.
Wow!!! What a great 30-06 journey and excellent outcome after some technical issues. Thank you for sharing. Would you recommend to Ackley Improve a standard 30-06 to get the gains you got? The titanium ceracote looks very good. When not informing the next person, one would think it is made of stainless steel.
@@wimpieprinsloo5042 yes think the gains are worth Ackley improving the 30.06 as now I can shoot the higher bc bullets and weight and get ballistics similar or the same as a 300win. But if you don’t reload I would say stick to standard 30.06 cause ammo is the issue.
love 30-06AI...getting a barrel that is also Gibb ized , with the shoulder moved forward, using 280 AI as parent case, so slightly longer case too.

Try using 125 gr Nosler accubond 130 gr Speer bullets. Fast flat shooting low recoil.
