- In this tutorial, We will learn how to configure our network using OSPF(Open Shortest Path First) in Cosco Packet Tracer.
OSPF is an interior gateway protocol(IGP) which helps in identifying the shortest path and communicating via that link.
This protocol is superior to RIPv1 and RIPv2.
If this helps you , then please like, share and subscribe.
Thank You, Happy Learning!!
I have a test tomorrow.. now my doubts about ospf are practically cleared thanks man
Generic devices aren't in my futuristic version of packet tracer, but I was able to add a module to each router to make this work. Your lesson is practical, simple and VERY well done. Many thanks for helping me create my first OSPF network model!
You've literally saved me on this one, thanks my guy
My pleasure, Thank You😀
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
At first I was like "crap...how did I click on the wrong video"..I'm subscribing just because of that. lol
LMFAO
Thx. I love you. You saved my ass. I have an exam tomorow
amazing as always. Indian Tutor saves the day!
best tutorial i have learn
Thanks.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, I WAS STUCK FOR 4 HOURS.....
Glad it helped you. Like and subscribe for more :)
I thought I clicked on an Athlean-X video
thank you, hope it will help me tomorrow in my final exam
Best of luck and score well! :)
I had to do simple network with NAT and DHCP router with a switch and three APs so didn't use OSPF. Anyway thank you, I successfuly passed my exam...
Thank you so much, sir. Extremely Helpful.
Great vid. Would be good if you could do another with the addition of conguring RID, DR & BDR
Thank you bro.
Thank you so much this was very helpful!
Thank you great video!!! keep them coming.
thank you, very helpful
Thanks very very much,
excellent video
Easy ... Excellent ... Well done ...
Thanks.
Love you.
good vid
excellently thought bro thankyou
good tutorial. Thanks
Thank you thank you! So helpful!!
Thanks
For a moment I thought I accidently clicked a Athlean-X video
thankyou
Many Thanks
Thanks bro ❤️❤️❤️
Great Video of ospf
I have a doubt, why serial connections are used rather than gigabit connection ?
👍❤️
Thank yoh
you did not explain why the router 0 is still sending packets to router 1 the 2nd time rather than directly sending it to the router 3 since the router 0's routing table already knows the shortest path as it had sent packets earlier to PC1. I believe, if you had not deleted the earlier communication between the PC0 and PC1 router 0 could have sent packets directly to the PC1 through router 2 using OSPF. As you had deleted the earlier sent packets information, it needed again the 3 way handshake and sent packets to both router1 and router2 to test which one is the shortest path. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Super video I want all practicals from basic to advance where can I get sir
THANK YOU
Welcome😀
so thank bro for your suggestion
Thank you so mutch!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS :>
tHATS GOOD THANKS
Thank you very much hero! ;)
Thanks!
static routes configured at 7:07
why have you copied athlean-x channel intro? lol
thanks alot
Glad it helped :) , Do like, share and subscribe.
Followed exact steps but unable to ping Pc1 and pc2
When I enter the network and ip in the CLI it shows "invalid input detected at marker". Any idea why?
Other than that great video👍🏻 and thanks in advance.
Did u solve the problem ?
@@dheerajng5969 no , but so I watched another video . Then too thanks 🙂
@@tanayanaik6912 ma'am did it work fine then i need to complete this assignment within tomorrow can pls tell the other video which u watched
The command was incomplete or incorrect
AthleanX.
Hey guys, Jeff Cavalier here. Today I'm going to show you how to hack NASA with your samsung toaster.
Thank you bro it was amazing but i have a question in my uni lecture we added a router-id too what is that for
That helps in selecting the BR. The router with the highest ID is elected as te BR.
*designated router DR
When I enter the network and ip in the CLI it shows "invalid input detected at marker". Any idea why?
Try leaving a space and make sure you are writing enough zeros.. because that's the mistake I made
Okay so it has to be the version difference because mine is not working at all now
Hello sir if we don't work in cli and not give command the other option is static or what plz tell me as soon as possible
Gracias, buen video
Is this for point to point or broadcast?
deckstop
I thoguht the passive interface command was supposed to go on the interface to the end device (g0/0) to stop OSPF from exiting the WAN network?
what topic are you having issue with?
I don't understand how it works the ospf area assignment 😔
What is the Dead intervals???
There is no GUI in an actual router.
there is GUI on exams in University though. And I'm not even interested in server programming or network administration.
do you have to configure it in a different way when there's a switch in between router and pc?
no
why we should use class A?
Depends on what kind of network you’re looking to simulate, he’s likely going for a large scale network sim
and where is router id ?
What do u mean by area 0?
area 0 means your backbone
The topology of an area is maintained in its own link state database and is hidden from other areas, which reduces the amount of traffic routing required by OSPF. The topology is then shared in a summarized form between areas by a connecting router. The backbone area (Area 0) is the core of an OSPF network.
what router are u usingin packet tracer? if not 2911.... which one?
nvm--i see now you used GENERIC
PT-Router
Packet tracer font is not visible bro
You just showed how it is done rather than why it is done.
what do you want to know?
hi
I don't understand about this the heck hahahaha :D really kills me WTF haha
AtleanX intro nice copy bro
Correct.. Took it from him
atleanX intro wtf
I just though the same ahahhahah

sasti accent marna band karde bhai at the end MTI ki wajh pakde he jana hai kyu izzat ghala raha hai
Great video tutorial , but why the fake accent ??
Respect the accents. Theres no such thing as real or fake. Everyone has a different way of speaking. Just coz someone doesnt have a native kind of accent doesnt mean its fake. Plus why would it bother you. And even if someone is trying to develop his or her accent, why should it bother others. Aint no big deal. Why be obssessed with it? As long as the person knows how to speak English and gets the message across, it shouldnt bother you.
a neutral accent would make it sound even better... Shut up man!!
Thank you so much this was very helpful!
Thanks

Hi. could you post a screen shot? Is it in the beginning at the > prompt or after entering global mode?
@@TheRohel it's at the beginning
@@tanayanaik6912 are you trying to configure a static route or dynamic route? could you post here your command so that it helps me understand what you are trying to do?
@@tanayanaik6912 to my understanding, you are writing something wrong. It could be syntax error or could be spelling mistake or wrong network address (IP) or wrong subnet mask.
@@tanayanaik6912 it’s not a packet tracer issue. Please check your command input and your keywords including spelling in that line.
Thanks
