I agree, I'm not a huge fan of the gear series of bits in general, they add a gamba chance that I really just don't care for. 1-60 is definitely proving to be a lot more interesting than first thought!
@@FabeldBeybladesto get a spot like third in the tournament must of been really risky to go in to a tournament and pulling put such a unique combo, it did well so the risk of the WR spam paid off!
Hey it's SpinToWin here! Glad you guys like the combo. My preferred orientation for the ratchet is to have the 1-60 tip set on the leading edge of the attack side of Unicorn, so when looking from the bottom with it pointing upwards, the attack side is to your right. The idea is that since it's spinning clockwise, when the point bit tilts into aggressive mode you have that extra bit of weight to swing into the attack, possibly helping with a critical hit. Hard to definitively prove its advantageous but for me part of what makes Beyblade fun is the nuanced details that add up. Unicorn is my favourite X bey so I'm always experimenting with it, and I love the surprise factor it has. Also Yoh001 was the one running HellsScythe on DiscBall. Personally I found it a burst risk in my testing but he made it work impressively. You can see us face up against each other for bronze in OriginalZankye's recently uploaded footage of the tournament. I primarily use this Unicorn combo in that match which helped me, especially at the end when it nudges Rod into the Xtreme line, throwing it out. It was a great event and I hope to see you both at another one!
Pretty good seeing how SpinToWin cooked the combo is very interesting and shows how the blades a lot of ppl fear not all the time they are invincible

I do like the movement that Point gives the beys.
Since I got a 1-60 from the CX-35 Green Wiz rod I might try this combo. I'll just need to myself a point bit.
Would be cool to see more anti-meta builds, feels like every new release becomes meta and old beys become obsolete.

How bout unicorn sting 570 hexa, it is not heavy but it also makes the balance with attack and defence as hexa sometimes go around the stadium
About rod ball falling over seen talks where 3 helps more solving this issue than 5 and 9.
