Yeah all good. It’s actually better to see real world test. I did go into this assuming it will work but like with everything there’s going to be issues and need to problem solve. I did look into this further but haven’t tested as I got the Air 3 and currently making content on that. I can always go back to this at later date. I believe the error was on my part but the instructions may not have been clear from maps made easy.
What you did do when the battery ran out halfway through the mission? Did you just change it and take off again to continue mapping the remaining half of the mapping mission?
For Map Pilot Pro yes but this didn't work when resuming, I have looked it up but haven't had chance to test. Currently making on content on Air 3. For Dronlink yes I simply swapped the battery and it continued with no issues.
Can you override while the mapping operation is in progress by maneuvering the joystick to take control of the aircraft to make it just hover or land anywhere in the field? Or simply, cancel the mission?

I contacted maps made easy. And they commented and said that your batteries need to be updated to the newest firmware. Each battery

Yes you can override for safety reasons or use the pause button.
