In an earlier version of the game, it literally said James Bond was Knuckles on the character select. Also Tails finally stood up for being tortured by EXEs so many times

I'll be honest, I don't like it when they put Tails as the evil entity that will torture the other characters, for some reason I'm more used to Sonic doing that, because I think Tails is such a friendly and cute guy, I don't like when they do this with Sonic players' favorite little fox, there are two things I don't like: when Tails is the evil being and he has to die in the .exe games a million times.

in all seriousness there’s a billion exes that range in what character is the exe. There’s mostly Sonic exes, then there’s a few Tails exes, very few Knuckles exes, etc
What we REALLY should be complaining about is the unoriginality when it comes to the stories of these exe games. It’s always the same bullshit
@nottyphlox Yes, I understand you, there isn't much to put in these .exe, everyone thinks it's just a case of creating an entity, making it kill all the characters and that's it, but no, what they need to see is that they you can create YOUR own stories in YOUR own different ways, like introducing mechanics, changing some parts of the story, I talked about not introducing Tails for the sake of speaking, after all I really think he's very cute and cool, but who knows if the game is updated and introduce interesting things.
I like it because of variation there's too many exe's that are just consisted on Sonic's appearence-
@ThaFireGawd I must admit that putting a different character in the .exe games is something creative, they could put others like Knuckles, Dr. Pingas, Amy, I just thought this idea wasn't used very well in this game, I hope the developers still working on this game, I believe there is a lot of content to put in the game, one example is Miles.EPS, it has mechanics and it's a Tails game, the mechanics are simple but it caught the attention of players, all games should be like that.
I agree with your opinion because why does every exe game that has sonic as the protagonist always need tails to be the exe can it just be some different being?

I was interested until I saw Emerald Hill's level design, then I knew it was gonna be one of those exe games. :\
God this was a disappointment. This game had such a cool concept and ruined it with the standard clichéd exe game formula that we've seen for years now, and it wasn't even good back then. This feels like a high effort version of Gumball.exe and if anyone remembers that, and that's not a good thing. This is also one of those games that Mutahar would uncontrolabely laugh at if he played it due to how seemingly low effort everything is except for some of the visuals.

It’s almost like most people that make exe games just take the basic sonic.exe gameplay change a couple things around and call it a day, it’s boring and predictable, there are some that go beyond and those are the good ones
