He's absolutely gorgeous!! I don't think it's a good idea to add fish unless you're prepared for them to be eaten. They also like to burrow, so he needs some sand. Other than that, I think it's awesome and I can't wait to see more updates!
Land Crabs Some crabs, like coconut crabs and land hermit crabs, are terrestrial and breathe well without water, although they still need to keep their gills moist. As long as their gills stay moist, these crabs can spend their lives out of the water. But if they were submerged in water, they would die.
I read that rainbow crabs cant be in the water 24/7. They spend a lot of time out of water and if they are kept in water for too long they can drown. Is the crab still alive? 😔
🤣🤣🤣 of course! It has land. This video was a quick setup. It’s in 60% land and 40% water. Land is rock and sand. HOWEVER - the crab did just fine with the turtle dock and driftwood etc.
The stories you've got of this little monster are amazing 😂
🤣
He's an Energetic Beautiful 😍 Me I would add neons or shrimp or both...nice job Godon...
Thank you Mark
Err, rainbow crabs are predatorial omnivores, shrimp wont last that long unfortunately 😅

Correct. His tank was this way for like a solid 2 weeks.
He has soil, sand, rocks and a pool of water now. He’s living life in my sons bedroom
I’ve been looking for this breed of crab everywhere! Where did you say you bought it?
The Fish Place in Buffalo NY

No you should definitely not.
Its a land crab!!!😮😮😮

@@aquarium.talktv No its not. It needs to have a part water to Moist gills but it can even drown.
I’m getting one 😃
Il est encore vivant ?
Wszysko jest dobre tylko że krab tęczowy ma płuca a nie skrzela dlatego powiniem mieć mniej wody żeby mógł odychać i miec trochę londu
Sand 🤔🤨❓
Substrate will be added at a later date. This was a quick instroduction and basic rescape with what was laying around the house.
Ok (:
