Ivan Legend The fights were filler, the actual act of going inside wasn’t. I’m pretty sure the only thing that happened was that Buu came right as Vegeta and Goku found and were ripping out the others

It's funny how goku and vegeta after being absorbed by buu, didn't notice a familiar looking but unknown dai kiaoshin hanging up inside of buu! This should be explained by Akira Toriyama.
Because Dai Kaioshin and Fat Buu were effectively one being at that point. Dai Kaioshin's personality melded together into Fat Buu's - who WAS inside of Super Buu (but they didn't mention it here). This is reinforced in the Super manga as well.

The sequence from 5:09 to the big bang attack looks like a Naruto Shippuden Storm 4 ultimate jutsu.

this game actually follows the manga closer then the anime did in the anime goku and vegeta tried to fight buu before fusing but in the manga they just have a little spat before vegeta agrees to fuse also when vegeto first appears he instantly goes ssj in the manga while in the anime he toy's with buu for a bit in base nice to see the game touch on these little details

There are a lot of moments where they throw in a sub quest or random line to fill plot holes in this game.
So no snake way, space travel, time chamber, inside buu, or open world....just big empty areas with the same enemy over and over?

And after this moment that spirit bomb took a toll on poor Gokus brain as he becomes dumber and seemingly to have learned nothing from this experience. He later lets galactic tyrants live on, puts universes at stake and even forgets what a kiss. Kinda sad when you think about it.

This game was so close to being amazing...one of the biggest drawbacks was how easy the game scales as you progress through it. Even on hard mode as you get through the game you become so powerful that every fight is a joke even the kid buu fight. Even when you don't abuse meals and perma food buffs the game is just easy by the end. The beginning of the game on hard mode is harder than the end and that's a glaring design problem. I did love this game but I feel like it could've been a much better experience with just a few changes.

This final legendary battle is so damn deep, in many ways.
We all love it, and most get very strong emotional responses. For many deeper reasons that are still a mystery in some ways.
Goku, being the Good hero as he is, has never taken a life. Until the exception of Pure Evil. Which also took the cooperation and support of everyone involved.
It may be the deep human desire to merely be involved in something bigger than You. It may be the human desire for peace, but also recognizing there is pure evil in this world, at the same time.
"It's better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war.", comes to mind.
I feel like there could be a whole podcast dedicated to the philosophy, psychology and mythology of the Dragonball Universe.

The Playlist guy actually, the movies (battle of Gods and Revenge F) come out long before super starts...they just incorporate it into super throughout the first episodes to set the stage for the storylines that would follow

In Dragon Ball games I’ve always been fascinated by the aura effects characters give off when they’re charging their ki. For me, DBZ Kakarot takes the number one spot the as the best looking with Burst Limit coming at 2nd even though you couldn’t charge, BUT my biggest gripe about this game is when you’re using Kaioken and SSJ, your aura is still blue and it visually looks displeasing and it’s inaccurate. I’m only at the part between the Planet Namek Arc (after Goku defeating Frieza) and Future Trunks showing up, so I don’t know if it like that for SSJ2 or SSJ3, but do you think they’ll change it later or what?
