Only SIG I own is the P938 (my pocket pistol). After that documentary on SIG, it just made me think twice about SIG and how much they actually care about their customers. Even though they make other good guns, for me I can't justify buying something from a company that could give a shit if their product killed me! So for that, I won't be purchasing any other SIG unless they somehow get their heads out of their asses! Although the ones you're speaking of are tempting 🤔.. but NO! 😅
@StuSmith-jl5it I keep trying to type in the RUclips channel and they're deleting it! Type in Protraband. Look at that channels videos until you find it. YT is unreal!
Agreed. The 938 being single stack in today's market makes it a complete joke. But no DA/SA does not sell in subcompact or micro compact, so no one makes them
I still kick myself to this day for (impulse) buying the P365 with manual safety over a H&K VP9SK. The striker tip broke off of the 365, sent it back to SIG then the striker broke into 3 pieces. SIG fixed it again, but I had to practically give the 365 away, went with the Hellcat and haven't looked back! BtW check out the new Hellcat Deal going! 😉
I own both and they are both great guns in my opinion, Hellcat feels better in my hand, but I am more accurate with my 365, I like both so I rotate them.
got rid of my 2 365s...... ony sigs i have now is the civilian version of the navy seal 226 and am old west german 226 from 1989..... thanks for the content spn
@Thomk121 bc i wanted to basically..... 8 sold one bc someone offered me an amount i couldnt refuse and the other one was a lemon and was plagued with problems even the mags had problems loading bullet into chamber... i have no plans on getting another 365.....
The P250 works great with the 15 rd mag. It is a long pull, but you won't accidentally shoot it. 938 is the go to for every day carry because striker fired guns are not smooth enough.
I have almost a complete collection of the Sig P250 handguns. I have one in each caliber they made except for the 380acp version. So I have 9mm, 40sw, 357 sig and 45acp. A lot of people hate the long DAO trigger, but I actually like it and can shoot it very well. I still trust my Glocks more for carry, but I used to carry a P250sc in 9mm for a couple years.
I love the 938 but even used it's absurdly priced, I'd rather get a used CSX. But old sigs are great. My aunt was a cop in Chicago, shot her sig pro a bunch in the early 2000s
Your not wrong about the price on the P938 BUT ....[IMO.-Ive been carrying & shooting the P938 for over a decade]....its by far the 1 of if not the best shooting ,most accurate and most reliable gun of its size/class [pocket pistols] on the market ! The accuracy and shooting experience that you get out of the P938 bombs the comparable options out of the water [IMO] ! I own/carry more than a few other handguns and every time I think its out of my rotation the P938 works its way back in for a couple of reasons..... 1 -its SO easy/comfortable to carry/conceal , so it's a 1st choice when i know Im going to be out in the field /at work because it doesn't get in my way no matter what Im doing..... 2 -Im VERY confident about my ability to put rounds on target w/it ! Like I said before your not wrong about the price but if something happened to mine, Id go out and buy another 1 w/o hesitation !
Sig P250 isn’t old lol. It came out in 2007. We were rocking full size Beretta 92s, 45 caliber 1911s, Sig P226s and 220s, and of course Gen 2 Glocks while you were in diapers. Sig went to garbage when they tried to compete with plastic striker guns.
I plan on getting a p320 m17. It's a weapon i may be issued one day, so I want to get use to it. I wasn't going to until I did some research and saw that the drop safe issue mostly affected the one with no safety.
@yeah____youdude.sorrymaam2298 the ones we use in the army seem to be and the civilian counter parts. Last year i watched a lot of soldiers use them at matches with extreme abuse. Yet the ones with no safety are still seeming to go off with a light tap
Nice! I wish I could find a good 250 sub compact! One the 1st few guns I bought at 21 was a p6 single stack 9mm size on g19/228/229, great gun I let go, was soooo cheap many years ago just got one this year off gbroker and paid dearly and magazines are dumb money but bought 5 more so I’d be set.
P938 we the people was my first gun lol it’s flawless after having to send it back to sig because it wouldn’t feed rounds ! Was really shitty my first gun had to immediately be sent back
Kind of impossible to determine. Remember that none of the pistols have a specific caliber, so you may find a bunch of used 9mm P250s that were shipped in .40. I imagine they made a lot .40SW X-Change kits considering this gun was produced in the .40's hayday. What's actually rare are the kits themselves, it is not common that you find a complete slide/barrel/frame kit these days. I was lucky to snag an untouched .45 compact kit, but I've been dying to find the a full size .45ACP kit.
I really like Sig overall, but I would never carry any P320 without a manual safety and an updated trigger with a more normalized trigger w/ trigger blade. Range and plinking is another story. They work and shoot very well. I really wanted a P938 Legion for some time, until I picked a few different ones up... I do not like that trigger at all...I expected a Legion to be much better.
Not every gun is a lemon, but my local range, local gun store and local gun smith all said the number one handguns that come back and need to be fixed are sig p320’s or p365’s
This guy really does not like the P365. I would venture that - given the sheer number in production - the norm is complete reliability. I had probably 1,500 rds through a P365 without a single issue. I have a 365 right now with well over 3,000 rds and I think I had one single primer strike failure. I tried that same round in the 9 mil carbine I had with me and it still failed to fire. Ammo failure and not the guns. Ironically, though he says the 938 is a good sig, I've heard of far more issues with that model than with the 365 (1st-run production model with the striker issue notwithstanding). I like 938s, but I don't even think those are the best micro-1911s out there.
I think its safe to say this guy simply hates sig and refuses to speak honestly and fairly regarding the company. We get it u love glocks, they r great guns but so are sigs. Everyone I know that owns one has had the exact opposite experience as you including myself.
I'm sorry but anything under the name "Sig Sauer" made today is shit and has nothing in common with the original Swiss and West German Sig. Same name, but that's it. Sig today is a completely American company, and it sucks what's bellow the belt.

What's the documentary called
@StuSmith-jl5it type in how the sig p320 cost sig millions. I think his channel is called pontraband. Enjoy!
@StuSmith-jl5it protraband is the channel name. Title is how the p320 cost sig millions.
@StuSmith-jl5it I keep trying to type in the RUclips channel and they're deleting it! Type in Protraband. Look at that channels videos until you find it. YT is unreal!
Wish Sig would design a P938 replacement that uses 365 mag technology, similar to the csx

@@Thomk121idk if you can say a micro da/sa doesn’t sell if no one has made one yet 😂 but I think is def tough to make the da/sa that small
@@Thomk121 Check out the Bersa Thunder. Amazing pistol.
Huh. I have never had an issue with my 365xl which is my edc. Also have the 320 x compact. Both awesome guns.
I own a sig sp2022. My wife bought it for me years ago. I still own it today, and love it

Why'd you get rid of your 365's? The 320's are the ones with all the lawsuits and "issues". The 365's are perfectly safe and completely reliable.
@@Thomk121wasn’t there something w the 365 firing pin

Pass. Lawsuits for guns going off by themselves. I’ll take a CZ please.
Only striker fired guns go off on their own. Neither of these are striker fired.
I discovered the P250 just “after” they ceased production…we need a Girsan clone for $275!

The double stack 938 is basically a S&w csx.
do a video on the sig 238!! i know it’s older and lacks capacity. but seems like an awesome handgun to me. 1911 style 380.
I LOVE my P238. Built like a TANK, smooth as, a Swiss watch. Only downside is capacity.

Shot my brothers p938 and you’re right that thing rips- super smooth
I'd rather have the 250 over the 320. And all 320 grips will fit the 250
Tha p938 is cool looking
You speaking on Ruger reminds me that I can’t wait to hear your opinion on the new RXM given that you’re a diehard Glock fan 😅
I feel like sig makes good hammer fired guns. Striker fired sigs are still a little iffy
938 vs csx vid pls
Can’t forget the sp2022!!! Double/single action hammer fired. Chose it over the hk p2000 for my first handgun.
I got rid of my 365s and went back to Glock. 😊👍
I know people love the P226 but that was my parents duty pistol and that thing is like a brick. It’s huge.

Anything in 40 is a unicorn, nobody wants to deal with the snappiness anymore of them.

P226/229 are awsome guns, p320 not so much. Proven hammer fired design.
The 938 is trash in the modern market. But hey, to each their own. The 250 is sweet though, same with the 226.
You’re entitled to your opinion my friend but it doesn’t make it right, not even close

Lmao....... The P238/P938 is NOT trash. Ultra reliable, excellent trigger, negligible recoil, good sights, excellent ergonomics.
