One of my friends has been writing everyday for 2 years and I aspire to be like both of you! I really have a struggle of having a streak. So I'm really proud of you and anyone who accomplishes this amazing feat!

I wrote every day (except one) in March 2021. I loved it. Some days were better than others but I liked being in the habit of writing though I know it's totally okay if people don't write every day. I just discovered this month that I like the daily habit and never thought I would.

Loved your video! I have been trying to make writing part of my daily habits, but some days are better than others. I really like writing for longer periods at a time, because it helps my creativity flow. But with a job and three kids (and a lockdown), longer periods are scarce. I struggle with writing for the love of the process and writing to make progress. Love from the Netherlands🇳🇱

Life can be difficult sometimes and throwing that extra "I have to write" on top of yourself can really throw yourself into a writing rut. Wow that's really amazing!!! I have been writing my debut novel and finished 4 chapters over 10000 words (yesterday).I am writing slowly thanks for motivating to write more and cheers to all the writers out there ❤️
That's amazing! Congratulations! For me, "having" to write every day kind of stresses me out. And, most times, if I intentionally take a break, it gives me a writing boost the next day and I unintentionally write more than if I hadn't taken the break. However, I do write most days every week (5-7), or at least work on my book for that many days. Generally, there's one day each week where it ends up that I have to take a slow day and brainstorm, but yeah. I don't really pay attention to streaks, unless I notice it's been like 3 weeks. XD And honestly; if I've been that long, I'll probably end up needing a break. I am trying to build up my writing speed again though, but I'm kinda slogging through the turning setup for the book. XD Hopefully I'll get a boost soon to coast on.

Well done, Sara! In particular, I like how relinquishing any kind of rules helped you just push forward. I have a horrible habit of drowning out good habits with rules, which drains all the fun. One day at a time is excellent advice. Still on my abridged version of Milwordy, so I do try to write daily. I failed a couple of days in March, which annoyed me. However, I have to accept that some days were not my fault. Good thing is your videos always make me want to write, because I get so many ideas from them. Looking forward to seeing progress on CBH!
I think last camp nano when I was starting project fae I managed to write every day for the month. It was fantastic and I wish I could make myself do it more often. Might as well try for this camp nano as well. :D Congrats on all that productivity!!!
It can definitely happen again. You got a new job? What happened to that aviation work you have? I write every day as much as I can because taking a long break like three to four days without writing can backfire. It will just continue, at least the case for me. So I have to write and make it a hobby or I will build up a habit of inconsistency. The only good thing about taking a break is that we feel reinvigorated and more inspired to work.
The "newer" job I was referencing is the aviation one, just still working on figuring out the flow of things around it. I've never heard that described as a habit of inconsistency, but that's so true!! But yes, breaks are sometimes very important

There are lots of online groups like facebook groups where you can find beta readers, or you can even find some on Fiverr! I asked some of my friends who write to beta read for me this round.
