You maybe be referring to the harkonnen goula soldiers being used in a specific mission for false-flag operations as the the House Ordos troops sound more robotic-like calculating souless soldiers.
Maybe it was a joke about how their monotone "complying" can be misheard for "complain" especially when you hear it so much it stops sounding like a word.
Agreed, although I enjoyed all the houses in this game I still thought Ordos got the short end of the stick at least its more even unlike Dune 2000 where hark was just OP as all hell
But ordos laser tanks can move and shoot and the OP fast...with 3 ranks each you become unstopable...belive me..in skrimish match i play ordos and i build like 20 laster tanks and easly kill everyone on the map
Ordos almost always were the 'hard mode' / complex faction in this series (single player at least) with Harkonen winning with simple brute force and Atreides getting the most minmaxed units.
While the Mentat Roma Atani is the perfect representation of the Ordos as cold-calculating, war-profiteering, masterminds I feel another character should be there aswell representing the otherside of the Ordos, A competent yet cutthroat PMC who cares for nothing but getting their paycheck and representing the mercenary sensibilities of the Ordos.
The Ordos I think have the best defense and the best offence. The Laser tanks are ridiculously good for fast engagements and disengagements. For example, just strafing or ´brushing´ an army with a 6-8 LT and you take at least 2-4 vehicles without losses. To support this massive force of LTs, the Kobra-class offers amazing, non-burst splash anti-infantry projectiles to decimate the armies - first, Kobras clear the muppet soldiers, LTs clear the vehicles. Same is possible with NIAB Tanks, but I usually play skirmishes and MP without sub-houses(I just like more ´vanilla´ gameplay), so not 100% sure. Apart from clearing the muppets, the Kobras also offer long-range anti-building damage. Which is quite useful, if you don´t have many 2nd-rank LTs. This combination of LTs and Kobras is just amazing. But, still vulnerable. That talk of ridiculously good mobility with damage could just be so easily thrashed by someone that plays with the Ixians. And it´s not exactly appropriate against other Ordos players. Against other Ordos, I start putting some infantry in the mix, to have effective combatants against the LTs, without trading LTs 1 for 1, or leaving the Kobras to struggle against masses of LTs.

The juice is not required, though helpful to achieve optimum performance. This woman does not use it. Probably for vanity reasons, but could also aid in a scheme of deception by the mentat, not giving away her role by her appearance.
I use dgVoodoo 2 and 8x EQ AA in 4k but your picture still seems to be crisper than what I get from tweaking graphics card settings. Do you have any tips or software you can recommend?
@@hdw I tried that but had the issue mentioned in the guide where the screen gets cropped. Thanks anyway, I'll just count myself lucky that it works with dgVoodoo, it definitely beats playing in 4:3
You are lucky, most of players get croped display following same guide as fix for FHD resolutions. I gave up becouse mouse cursor is offset and some menu buttons are lost when croped...

The Ordos campaign is missing additional characters that make the Atreides and Harkonnen stories fun. Is just the Mentat without any character drama.
