#samsungodyssey Samsung Odyssey G7 32" Monitor 240hz HDR 600 with local dimming Hight adjustable stand RGB leds on the front and rear Gsync and Freesync
Just got this and it’s worth every penny, takes a couple hours to get used to the curve but as soon as you do you are fully engaged with every game. The screen actually looks bigger in person
Nice monitor, I just got my Neo G8 at a discounted price from Samsung and I also had some reward points for a previous purchase so I got mine for a lower price than the Neo G7 costs :) I was lucky and got display with no dead or stuck pixels and scanlines is not an issue at 240hz either. I feel like I won the panel lottery this time.
@@MakeSh00t What do you mean 2023 models? Do you mean there are new models of this monitor launched or you meant newer revisions? Like same monitor but newer production date?
@@Prince3679 It kind feels annoying to me knowing we paid hundreds of dollars to have this type of techolongy if we're not even going to use it lol. But still, with local dimming turned off, the contrast is MILES away better from the best looking IPS monitor. IPS glow is the worse thing to see. Any kind of backlight is not very visable when looking straight on at this panel.
Hi. Settings as far as I remember. HDR on, local dimming off, black equalizer 13, brightness 90 in HDR mode, brightness 43 in sdr , contrast stock think its 75
@@Prince3679 @Prince 3679 No, exact same as your, but when I searched some reddit posts They are saying that every unit has this partial scan lines issue. So i am worried now lmao... Ordered a replacement so lets see..
Yes Its Bang4buckpcgamer's video. Am sure his Whole video is much longer check his Channel for the whole video. My Video is about the Monitor Samsung Odyssey G7 32" 240HZ

how is it bro 6 months after
1:44 killed me LMAO
😅
Excellent. Nice to see a fellow G7 player. Keep up the good work 👍🏾
I have the same monitor. No need for a 4k monitor with lower Fps when a G7 exists 😎🔥♥️

i just ordered this monitor today. I can't wait for it to arrive.
Mine just got here
Just bought this monitor and building my first pc 4090z going from console to pc will be so much different
the way it was meant to be played
G7 is life
Is it the msi afterburner? What is your pc configuration and how come your 4090 is running at 54°C with 98%load
Do you play with local dimming on? I play with it off and it looks better in my opinion.
I agree. I also have local dimming off.

Interesting video. What are your monitor settings in this? Like brightness, contrast, black equalizer. And is local dimming on as well as hdr?

@@Prince3679 great thank you! Was there any specific reason you had the local dimming off?
@@kainhighwind978 The local dimming on this monitor is not the best only 8 zones. The picture is brighter with local dimming off.
@@Prince3679 Ohh I see thank you!
@@Prince3679 isnt black equalizer 13 too high ? On my 27 inch version with black equalizer 13 i am almost blind in dark games,so i turned it down to 9
how are the inbuilt speakers? enjoyable?
This monitor does not have built in speakers.
i am seeing horizontal streaks in blue and oranges in 144hz and 120hz hdmi....
I dont see any on mine at 144hz or 120hz. Is yours the 4K Odyssey Neo G7?
