thanks for the review. we're using the same 888s sa subdivision, what we did is we replaced the antenna ng Nagoya UT-106 SMA-Female at tinaas namin, ayun lumakas ang rx and tx. sa mga guard house namin kinabit, low budget comm namin sa HOA pero it works and helps. the higher the antenna the better.

Perfect review/test for this walkies. Looking to buy a set of about 10-12 pieces specifically for video production purposes. It fits into my budget and this the only aspect I'm looking to get a clarification on. We'll most probably never use beyond 300-500 metres max in 99% of our usage case. So this should work perfectly for us. Thanks for this review, absolutely helpful.

Great video thanks for making this.
    two comments on this test:
    - The horizon it's only 4km away at sea level. the radiosignals (EM waves travel in straight line) therefore you won't be able to communicate with someone further away or even a small building or woods can make this distance even shorter.
    - If you want to try the power (radius) of the signal of your radio I would recommend going on a hill or the rooftop of a building and then try to communicate with someone 4 or 5 km away but having direct visual contact, even if you don't see the person clearly, make sure there is nothing blocking the line. and then you would probably have a larger range. I have used cheap walkie talkies at way more than 5km but talking from a hill to another hill.

You did a good test review, very helpful. I suggest you should use the radio outside the car, to achieve a longer range signal it must be in a plain area with no obstacles as well as the person you're calling.

For car to car 2 km is not bad. For camping u should get more range. Those radios are just 1 to 2 watts. Every 1 watt is one mile in a straight line of site. Upgrading a little longer antenna will give u more range. 👋👍🙂

The vehicle is curing signal. try standing outside the car and you should be able to hear them
