    Thank you for this wonderful formulation.,. Can you please tell me what can be used instead of inulin...?

    • @diycosmetica
      @diycosmetica  2 года назад +5

      You can swap the inulin with Hydrolyzed wheat protein powder or hydrolyzed silk protein.

      I got my mica powders from cosmetics suppliers in Spain. You can also find them on Amazon or Etsy.

    Cam i add herbal powder to give it some colour instead? Should i add tjrm to phase a to bind with the rest of the ingredients, or heat up gylcerin to dissolve thr herbal power?

      You can reduce 1-2 % from the cornstarch and add another powder (amla, shikakai…).
      Similar to the amla shampoo:

      Or the shikakai shampoo:

    Hi! I have a question, please. Can I replace the coconut oil with fractionated coconut oil?

    • @diycosmetica
      @diycosmetica  Месяц назад +1

      You can, fractionated coconut oil will make the bar less hard but it should still be fine since it’s only 5%.

    does the shampoo leaves flakes on hair from the corn starch?

    • @diycosmetica
      @diycosmetica  Год назад +1

      No. The cornstarch is added with the heated phase and you’ll get a homogeneous paste which later will harden once cooled down.

    Mam please say soy lecithin powder turn into liquid beacuse i have soy lecithin powder so please say??

    • @diycosmetica
      @diycosmetica  2 года назад +2

      You can use lecithin powder (INCI: Lysolecithin) in your cosmetics, you need to add the powder to the oil phase and when you combine the oil and water phases you have to blend with an immersion blender for a couple of minutes in order to have a smooth texture, if you won’t blend it well you’ll have clumps in your final product.
      Lecithin powder can be used up to 5% of your formula. Liquid lecithin can be used up to 15-20% of the formula and it’s much more easy to work with.
      You can’t turn the powder to be the same ingredient as the liquid.
