- The shorter days and cooler temps are a sign that the seasons are changing. Although I may be spending less time at the beach, one upside that makes this season really special is the abundance of fruit on our local trees. Follow along as I harvest the fruit of a neighbour's orchard and preserve the bounty for the colder months ahead. Because a loaded pantry means full bellies!
What is your favorite way to preserve apples and plums? Let me know in the comments below.

Apples yay!
I love apples 😂
You live in a great area, the frit picking was nice, but I did see something I liked a lot...That 3 leg ladder is awesome for unstable ground...I want one for my fruit picking, 4 leg ladders 🪜 wobble.
They call it Canada's Hawaii, which is an exaggeration. It just means we aren't covered in snow most of the winter 😂
3-legged ladders are called orchard ladders, they are made for exactly this purpose. They do a great job too. Invaluable for fruit picking.
I enjoyed this.
You enjoying this makes me very happy 🥰
