Juicy Que’ at Black’s Barbecue

Load in for our trip to Black’s Barbecue in Lockhart, Texas’ barbecue capital. Chow down on giant beef ribs, spicy jalapeño sausage and some of the most tender, heavenly slices of brisket you’ll ever taste. Passed down through four generations, this BBQ mecca has been open since 1932.

God Bless the Black family, I have to give a special thank you to Edgar Black Jr. for serving our country in WW II, my dad & 5 of his 6 brothers all served in the military( the 1 that did not serve was crippled in his legs, but still tried to enlist, but to no avail) Mr. Black, thank you for serving God, America, & my family, to protect us & our freedom, Amen.
Ma'am, very good video & I have seen several videos on Black's BBQ, but I learned some new things about this place & family, my family from rural S/E Kentucky posting here, 60 yr old Irishman been cooking, bbq'ing, grilling since I was 9, God Bless you all
I will, in Kentucky we soak our beans over night also , softens the hulls, also a tsp. of sugar in 16 oz. dry soup beans(& dissolve the sugar in appx. 6 oz water & add to the beans in the pot you soak them in & don't change out the soaking warer/sugarwater, chemical reaction will get rid of flatuent/gas issues no canned) covered with about 2 inches of water, cook the beans in the soaking water with the little bit of the sugar water to = 2 inches covering the beans
Edgar Black Jr. was very blessed by God to get Miss Norma Jean as a wife, a beautiful kind lady/woman & the whole family is wonderful, Barrett is right as she is the Queen of Texas BBQ , & probably of the U.S. , Edgar was was a fine man with great children & grand children, my wife recently retired also & we are planning a food trip to Lockhart, notably Black's , but I will give the other places a try, but I just know we will prefer Black's BBQ, btw, being I am a Christian I am glad Miss Norma Jean said the " colored only signs are coming down & it ain't gonna be a beer drinking place/joint/bar, Amen"
btw, on the beans, if you put a tablespoon of sugar in the pot of that amount of beans, you will not experience any flattent issues/problems, a chemical reaction occurs to keep you from having gas & you will not taste any sweetness, unless you use brown sugar, will work

Norma Jean is a beautiful lady, fom young lady to mama, I guess it is true, men are sight attracted to a lady & I don't think women care what we look like as long as we treat them like ladies, lol, us feller's seem to marry ladies out of our league, I am one too, lol
