Finally someone goes to the really bbq capital lockhart, tx. My favorite is definitely smitty's though. People always film blacks or kruez I think because the ambience is better but smitty's is the hidden gem.
I love it all . Born and raised here ... My Uncle was married to Floyds’ Daughter Brenda ; My Cousin Jacob ( aka Bacon) came out of that union ... and yes : Floyd was a salt of the earth Christian Gentleman ... I miss Him dearly
I love the beer selection. Supporting Texas craft beers. The people that would normally order a bud or miller will be introduced a better beer. They may stay with craft beers.
It's a shame that the original Chisholm Trail BBQ changed hands. ALL the locals went here, Floyd spent most of his life making it the place it was. They were cheaper and better than all the rest, IMHO..
David Keese : The Turkey and Dressing on Sunday , Chicken Fried Steak on Thursday , and Catfish on Friday are worth going for … and their pit master has really stepped up his game .
Those Subtitles are hilarious. Out of Synch... always WAY behind in lag, absolutely & absurdly WRONG. Can't stop laughing at the "Art Haters" subtitle for "Tossing our Taters" in the baked potato segment with Charlotte Samuel at 40:45 minute mark. So many more of the laughable moments. Completely distracting from the "meat" of the show.
My hometown ❤️ grew up there best bbq on the square. So neat watching about places you lived near, rode bikes by.

I love both Kreuz and Smittys in Lockhart. I unfortunately didn't have room in my stomach for Blacks; my lost.
