I just started a RUclips channel and picked up an A6600 to film with. So far I really like it although the learning curve is a bit steep for a first time videographer. That said, it seems like any of the recent cameras will capture amazing footage. The limiting factor with my camera is ME.

Thanks for sharing this video. It is very helpful. I just got my Sony a6600, I think it is small but powerful! I have seen many cinematic shots made my this camera. This is the main reason for buying this camera. Compared with other Sony alpha series, this camera got very powerful for battery! Also I can make s&q mode like a Sony A7m3, but 6600 is lighter than that. There are many reviews about the Sony lenses which are very expensive, but we can still find that an option, like sigma lenses.

A6600 has an S&Q mode on the dial. You don't have to switch from 4k to do it. Just leave it on 4K. In the same menu you'll see S&Q settings, where you can modify your prefences on slow mo. The camera makes that easy to switch to slow motion. By simply turning the dial.

filming the video. I notice after when I am editing and I see the video. I
see that the video started out as a somewhat dark video image ( which I
like) - like most vlogs. Then it starts to brighten itself as the clip
goes on. The camera seems to some how change something in adjustment
during filming.Im not sure if I have to turn some setting off or adjust

    HELPP!!!
Whenever I transfer my footage to my hard drive, the file size is SO BIG. I noticed that my computer automatically saves the footage in slow motion, hence why the video is so long and why (I'm assuming the file size is so big.)
To fix this, I adjust the speed of the video to play at a normal rate so that the video will no longer be super long and hopefully the file size won't be as big. My computer then asks if I want to save the adjustments I made. When I say yes, my computer creates a new file and it seems like it is saving the adjustments. But when I open the new file, it's EXACTLY THE SAME.
Can anyone help me??? I want to keep shooting in slow motion but at the same time, save the footage in a way where the file size isn't as big.
