My lecturer belongs in a room doing complex data analytics and not in a class room lmao he obviously knows his stuff but just because someone knows their stuff doesn't mean they make a good teacher.
8 minutes vs 16 weeks....the difference is astounding. Nearly a decade later and this video is still teaching. Thank you for being such an engaging teacher and sharing it with the world!
internet is powerful actually, people who don't have a degree can have the same information as someone who graduated from university by learning through the internet
You are an amazing instructor! My professor explained this so poorly and I have been scouring the internet for a better explanation that would help me unlearn what my professor butchered and teach me the concept simply and clearly. Thank you!
I've been looking at a few videos to understand this seemingly easy concept that nobody seems to easily explain. Thank you so much this has helped!! FINALLY
This mans a GOAT , I wish I had a teacher like this here I was unable to understand it for so long until I saw this. These students dang lucky ima sub.
Thank you, SO MUCH! I just began my MIS college course and I've been having a hard time finding the importance of studying this material. You helped me snap out of that tedious/bored phase and get engaged. God bless you, sir.
Thank you SO MUCH, I'm in the middle of a data analytics coarse and they were using language and examples that just were NOT clicking. The way you explained the unique identifier and how it connects to another table just made everything click, you have no idea how happy I am to finally understand.
Before finding this video, I stayed awake all night last night and slept at 6am coz I am trying to learn this topic for a discussion. I do not have an IT experience. Let me tell you, this is by far the simplest explanation I dug and really hoped I found this last night! You are an amazing instructor. You made it so easy to understand! I'm a fan! Thank you so much!!!
I'm a data scientist who is new to the field, I have a math degree and would watch some of your videos during college, you continue to be one of the best educators on this platform, especially for someone trying to learn DB concepts :) cheers man
this guy is amazing!. I like how he explains concepts and how excited he is about teaching. I am glad I found this channel, i think I am going to get addicted to it. =)
This is so helpful, I needed this badly! Am in a course that's completely remote and the professor is only there to grade your work. I keep getting super lost with what to do, but this helped so much!! This video's awesome. :)
1:13 dude really interrupted him just to tell him he made a spelling error -_- I wouldn't last more than a week as a high school teacher... Thank God for people like you!
That's not a spelling error he literally didn't write the right word which showed to be really confusing. The prof even joked about it. Did we watch the same video ?
@@Numizard Given the context of the lecture along with the fact that the student who asked the question clearly knew he meant "keys" instead of "cables", it's obvious that he only pointed this out because he felt like speaking out. Not because he was truly confused. You may not know this, but this isn't uncommon amongst high school students in the US. So, we did indeed watch the same video -- The only difference between you and I is that I was raised to hold the upmost respect for my elders and for educators, you were not.
I watch other training videos on Primary vs Foreign keys, and their purpose. I could not wrap my mind around it. But you explained it very well. Thank you.
I legit have been working with DBs for a while. I knew all this stuff in my head but never put the names to it, and it's so obvious now... but until this video I couldn't tell you the definition of primary and foreign keys. Just goes to show how a clear explanation can make all the difference.
Let me tell you, school in malaysia took this video qr codes in our textbook. And it really helps me to understand about these keys. Thank you! Im glad they use this video💕💕💕anyway we learnt this at 15 yo
Finally not an indian guy teaching this!!! Its hard to understand what they are saying. Mr. Woo you made this so easy to understand. I would have failed my course had it not been for you
These students have no clue how lucky they are to have this teacher.
agree
Really.
I literally just said to a friend, "I wish he was teaching our course."
My lecturer belongs in a room doing complex data analytics and not in a class room lmao he obviously knows his stuff but just because someone knows their stuff doesn't mean they make a good teacher.
I am jealous

Just curious, what does '16 weeks' represent in your comparison?
@@UrmatG i think it is a semester's duration

This guy is a legend; I remember watching his videos to help with GCSEs and now here I am years later doing an MSc and still learning from him.
You are an amazing instructor! My professor explained this so poorly and I have been scouring the internet for a better explanation that would help me unlearn what my professor butchered and teach me the concept simply and clearly. Thank you!
I have been following him for 2 years. He is amazing as always.

Woah a fucking amazing teacher. 11 years later, a legend. Glad I came across this video. Why don’t teacher just talk normally like this. Bravo 👏
THIS VIDEO IS 10 BILLION IQ. I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING INSTANTLY IN UNDER 10 MINUTES. GODSEND.

"Does any one have any questions?" HAHAHAHA... This guy is better then all the lectures that I had on my degree
Efsane anlatım. müthiş bir şekilde anlattı. 8 dk lık bir video ne kadar iyi olabilir demeyin izleyin. Konu anlama garantili.... Perfect
This was so ridiculously clear, thank you! I have felt so confused by previous explanations but this was so simple. GENIUS!
So many lightbulbs and "aha" moments in less than 9 mins. Broken down extremely well :)

wow give this teacher an award this content helped me out a lot !!!!!
This is one of the best tutorials which is worth to watch with clear concept...
I'm taking the google course for data analysis and google didn't even explain this nearly as clearly as you did. Thanks for the quality explanation.
I can't believe how easy this concept is with a teacher who presents it this way. My professors were more annoyed that they had to explain this stuff
This is amazing. This is so much clearer than trying to read it in a book without figures. Thank you so much for making this video.

You are an awesome instructor....I got it just like that. I was always unclear of the 1:1 1:M and M:M.

oh good goodness, amazing teaching! vivid, nice examples, and passion!
Im pisssed that this guy taught me more in 8 minutes than I did for a whole semester. He’s too good
This was the best video I found today. My college-level book was way more confusing and this simplified it for me in less than 10 minutes.

I am from Pakistan and i enjoyed very much during your presentation and after watching this i have no confusion about foreign and primary keys...

You easily explained, in roughly five minutes, what my professor couldn't in over an hour.
The whole concept is vividly presented, glad to watch this before mid-term
