Never considered carbon neutral when purchasing construction equipment or attachments.100% quality is what we need to get the job done.

We appreciate your comment! The HQX is made from a cast-steel body to keep wear to a minimum during use, but maybe carbon neutral products are something to start considering? Larger companies like Sunbelt Rentals are working on initiatives to improve their impact on the environment so we're trying to do our part by starting to come inline with that too!
      Hope this helps!

Buying carbon points isn't reducing any of the actual carbon that was emitted by making your product. Investing money doesn't pull any carbon out of the air, it just legally is assumed to be.

Thanks for the comment. The 'carbon points' that have been used to offset the carbon produced during manufacturing/distribution have been used to fund a hydropower plant that aims to increase the production of renewable energy which plays a role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions!

It's so nice to see this initiative!
    Just two small points:
    A) This is marketing. If it means so much to you you'd just do it and never feel a need to boast about it.
    B) It's 2024, the last time I received a package with anything that is not biodegradable was before the 2000's You're a little late top the party.
    C) Supporting that hydro project is great but let's be honest: you can either afford it because it's cheap, or because you are charging the customers for it. Money doesn't grow on trees.
Oh, and D) how the actual F did this get in my recommendations? RUclips is a magical place full of wonder...

Thanks for the comment and questions!
      A) We are not posting about the carbon neutral status of our hydraulic coupler to boast. Larger companies in the construction industry are working on initiatives to improve their impact on the environment so by making this product carbon neutral, we're trying to come inline with that too!
      B) We agree - receiving packages in biodegradable packaging has been going on for years! But that's not always possible when shipping large products like excavator buckets and attachments. Biodegradable or recyclable options aren't always strong enough to hold heavy items like this in place but we've been improving our packaging methods for years, continually finding the best methods that reduce the impact on the planet!
      C) As mentioned in previous comments, the cost of our hydraulic quick couplers remain the same to the customer, whether they're carbon neutral or not!
Again, thank you for the questions! We hope this provides a little bit more information to support our decision of carbon neutrality!

@@Rhinox-Group DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT CARBON NEUTRAL MEANS???????????????????

    • @Rhinox-Group
      @Rhinox-Group  11 дней назад

@@666dualsport Thanks for the comment. The google dictionary definition of 'carbon neutral' is:
      - Making or resulting in no net release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, especially as a result of carbon offsetting.
This means that an activity or process doesn't add any extra carbon dioxide (CO2) to the atmosphere. If it does produce CO2, steps are taken to balance it out, to remove or OFFSET an equal amount of CO2, so the overall impact on the atmosphere is neutral.
So in terms of our carbon neutral hydraulic coupler. Any carbon produced during manufacturing/distribution has been offset by investing in a hydropower plant that produces electricity using water instead of fossil fuels. Using water instead of fossil fuels, stops the production of carbon therefore offsetting the carbon produced in our processes.
      Hope this helps!

@@Rhinox-Group So if you know what it means you'll provide us with a full break-down of this part from CONCEPTION to construction (all related materials and work period inputs) to expected units produced. You want to say you're working for the environment is fine, but claiming full carbon neutrality is a flat out farce and reeks of marketing. If you were really interested in advertising about being better for the environment you would talk about your input energy reduction in the process as a whole, not just carbon.

No one gives a fuck about carbon neutral.

    • @Rhinox-Group

We understand that factors like ease of use and reliability are significant when purchasing a product like a hydraulic quick coupler. That's why we've worked hard to ensure our products meet high standards. For instance, our hydraulic couplers can be disassembled and reassembled in just 15 minutes, with full maintenance and servicing completed in under an hour! Plus, they feature a fully compliant twin locking mechanism to ensure maximum safety during operation.
However, more companies are beginning to prioritise their environmental impact and how their equipment affects the planet so while carbon neutrality may not be a priority for you, it is a key benefit for others. Regardless of the carbon neutral status, the cost of the product remains the same to you!

ah yes *the hydropower will replace an equivalent amount of carbon in a growing nation* definitely not just be made alongside the same amount of carbon power
if i was an environmentalist i would be complaining about greenwashing and the fact you are unwilling to create the product from recycled steel and use the green power you are supposedly producing/sponsoring
Unfortunately i am not, so i will do my best to avoid your existence and choose a large manufacturer who does the same things but i don't have to hear about

    • @Rhinox-Group

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We understand your concerns and want to address them directly...
At Rhinox, we're just beginning our journey into sustainability, and while we're committed to this path, we acknowledge that there’s still a long way to go.
We understand your concerns about recycled steel and using the green power we're helping to produce. Right now, we're not in a position to fully integrate recycled materials into our manufacturing process or directly use the renewable energy from our investment into hydropower initiatives. However, these are goals we’re hoping to work towards as we grow and develop our sustainability practices.
We appreciate your feedback, and while we respect your decision to choose another manufacturer, we hope you'll consider Rhinox again as we continue to evolve and improve.
