Hi Brian I’ve enjoyed watching your videos,you certainly cover many subjects.as to mushrooms I’ve been turning since the late 70s and one of my first turned or should I say attempted turned pieces was a mushroom out of wet wood mine had a tall thin stem which changed shape after a few minutes in the microwave.im now 82 this year and still turn most afternoons after my morning walk.im convinced that one needs a hobby when retired and my happy place is standing in front of the lathe.
