- There's NO doubt 351 Windsor blocks are tough as nails. Found one for $300 that had a hole in the side. Will it EVER run again?

Can A 351w Motor With A Hole Be Saved? Let's Find Out!
Bought a 351w Motor With a Hole In IT WILL IT RUN AGAIN?
Can A 351w Motor with A Hole Be Saved WILL IT EVEN RUN? Авто/Мото
I’d like to see a budget GT40 top end on a stock bore or .30 over 351W with an aggressive cam. Just basically junkyard parts besides the cam and accessories
To make 302 power?
Just add roughly 30hp. The heads and intake flow will be the deciding hp limit.
351 Windsor. Easily one of the best engines Ford ever bolted to a chassis. Gets more respect today than back when they were new. My 351W is bolted into my 1969 Mustang Mach 1. The car was presented to me new for my 16th birthday. Had to replace the 50-year-old head gaskets last year. Previous to that, the engine had been trouble-free and performed great for all those years. Keep up the info. and great work. And keep that Ford Flag flying high!
The 460, 351-C, and 351-W are a stroke of genius! Such a simple engine design to achieve mega C.I. Out of a stock block with little grinding. The Cleveland has a raised camshaft tunnel and the Cleveland cylinder head design is the pinnacle for all racing cylinder head design today. I’ve built a few Chevy’s over the years and was never happy with the amount of money and all the extra work involved compared to the Ford platform.
A lot of u-pulls give store credit and not cash back, but i would just look for another block. Also the rod bending is from too much boost too low in the rpm range. If the boost comes in later the rods will be ok. Keep up the good work.
Me and my brother just broke a timing chain and a connecting rod in a 302. Also broke the cylinder wall.
Just use the dingleberry hone and run it lol
We’ll see
Awesome videos and info! Thank you
Well it just made extra clearance for a stroker build, you know the mad scientist is going to give you that
look like you are crazy when you take it to him.
Looks exactly like the one I pulled last year
But mine had a decapitated piston
How much would you charge for a good f4te shortblock? You don't really see them anymore down south...
Would be good to do a build for a subscribers car
Hook cousin paul up !
Neo I have a question what harmonic balancer would I need to replace my 408 stroker do I use a 408 or a 351 as it’s a stock bottom 351 internally balanced. Thank you for any information you can provide
Call trickflow. It’s the one I use. Pretty sure they all the same part number and has removable weights for different imbalances
@@Neomustangs thank you brother. You have to do more 408 brother I’m into those videos that you provide
not worth it
