Production wise, this one IS underwhelming, at least when compared to the rest of his work. You'd agree if you actually knew his music. Keep it to yourself and continue being a drag to those around you

Não estou a dizer que foi falha dele, o gajo é um dos melhores produtores hoje em dia, portanto tudo o que ele faz é intencional e é apenas uma escolha da parte dele em termos do que ele acha que fica bem. A cena é que comparado com outras canções dele, esta está muito fraquinha em termos de produção; pouca complexidade. Soa muito a algo que qualquer outro produtor podia fazer, entendes? Algo comercial. Quando ouço canções dele, maioritariamente tenho sempre aquele momento em que fico com um grande sorriso na cara e penso: "Yep, this is a Seven Lions song, alright". Com esta (e não só) não sinto isso nem de longe. Se reparares, as melhores canções dele são só as dele. O problema de fazer collabs, por muito fixes que algumas sejam, é que há sempre uma discrepância em termos do som e da vibe da canção, pois são duas pessoas ou mais a produzir aquilo. Muitas vezes não há uma consistência, entendes? Se reparares, tens canções dele que, muito provavelmente, foram business decisions em termos de ganhar exposure e de colaborar com produtores super comerciais. São aquelas canções dos típicos 3 minutos de duração e nada complexas em termos de produção. Senseless, Need Your Love, Rescue Me, Freesol, See The End, entre outras. Depois tens aquelas em que vês que são claramente passion projects. Canções nas quais o gajo se dedicou o máximo, alma e coração. Beautiful, Creation, December, Serpent of Old, Running to the Sea, Leaving Earth, Sahara Love, entre outras. e é isso, basicamente.
