I love the colors! absolutely scrumptious!
Thanks! My fave palette too 😘
These are beautiful papers! I love the soft blue-green you mixed up.
Thank you so much!
Every year I ask myself why I don't press flowers. This year I'm going to make a press and then use the outcome to make beautiful prints. Thanks for mixing paints on camera, it was helpful for me to see as I'm new at this. Very lovely.
It’s a great way to be able to print all year round, I’m glad you enjoyed the video Jennifer 😀
yes I think that is quite a game changer, to get much crisper silohettes
That takes me back to very young days when pressing wildflowers between blotting paper sheets (remember those) inside a book was a thing. Not sure I can find actual blotting paper any more, but there must be a substitute and I'll have to have another go once we finally reach spring here.
Glad I’ve brought back some fond memories for you ☺️❤️
Such beautiful papers! ❤
Thanks so much 😊
Beautiful work. Sadly I couldn't quite catch what paper you were using, so very glad you put a list up thank you.
Oh yes its Maruishi paper, the link in description 😀
I press plants from my garden too. It holds me over through the winter months. Sometimes I cut stencils/masks by tracing a silhouette print. I just ordered silk bamboo from Amazon. It's cheaper than purchasing a living plant and won't be invasive in my garden. Your work is inspiring.
That's a great idea! Happy printing Avanelle ❤️
Yet another AWESOME tutorial Susan, with STUNNING results!!! Thank you so much for sharing 💜💕
You are so welcome! 🤗
Wow. These are so beautiful. Very inspiring!
Thank you so much!😊
For the love of paper, gelli printing and botanicals, we are cut from the same mold! Thank you for this lovely video. I'm happy when I learn something, anything...new! I've learned tonight that I need a larger gelli plate! Much Aloha to you lovely lady!🌺🌈🙋♀️
Doppelgängers I believe 😀happy printing ❤️
Your double prints are fab and I am so glad I found your video! Thank you for printing so much for us to see. You did a great job of explaining each step! All of the results are wonderful. Would like to see finished projects with some of these pieces.
Thank you so much! I’m glad it was helpful 😀
So much fun to see, beautiful results. Loved seeing you use the variety of different papers. Beautiful work!

Hi there, yes I do! Here is the link to watch part 2 ruclips.net/video/uXtzX1izY4g/видео.htmlsi=XoVBf1IPysNh3Dpb
Gorgeous papers!!
Glad you like them Deanna ❤️
I’m sure you have done something with it by now but when I say the black and white bold background with the eucalyptus leaves on it, I saw it mounted with the torn edges left to be seen. Looks very cool
Great idea 💡 I think I might still have that print intact 😀
Thanks Susan, really super inspiration!
You are so welcome!
You’ve just reminded me I pressed some flowers last year; now to find them😀🤭
Hope you can find them Anne! They would look awesome combined with your stitching skills, maybe a fabric recipe for Jayne 😀

Hi Susan, at about minute 25, you have a torn rectangular paper with dark inks, is there a video in how you created the original piece?
Hi 👋 I’m sorry I’ve not made a video with this paper, I do show some ink techniques in this video though 👍

Beautiful prints Susan - Thankyou for sharing 😊 Think you could use parts of these papers as they are, glued to board and they are complete pieces as they are ❤
Great idea, there are some that would be lovely surface mounted in a simple frame. ❤️
These are absolutely gorgeous- I love the pallet you are using. Very inspirational!
Could you please post the name of that gorgeous sheer paper you are using. It sounds like “Rushi” but I can’t find anything like it- also looked for Chine collet paper.
Thanks!
I think it's maruishi paper
Thanks for helping Annie, yes it’s called Maruishi paper and the print making term I used is Chine Colle. You can purchase it from Intaglio Printmakers in the UK

When do you find all that amazing old looking paper ?
I dyed my paper with coffee which gives that lovely aged look ☕️
magnifique
Thank you 🙏
Are you painting the glue on your transparent papers when they are dry? Or when you stick them to another sheet?
I would add paint to transparent paper when it is dry 😀
How do you spell the thin printmaking paper that starts with a R?
I think it's maruishi paper
@@anniecannistra3870 thanks!
Maruishi paper, I’ve updated the supply list now and added that one too for you all 😀

Dear Susan, I have a question. I always thought, that dry plants can damage the gelli plate. Am I right? What was your experience?
Perhaps if they are spiky? They might pierce the gel, but I’ve not had any problems 😀
Hi Susan. Do you think the paints/ techniques could be used on fabrics such as calico?
I’ve only tried printing on smooth 100% cotton, if it’s not too textured I think it would work well 👍
Thank you 😊
Wow c'est magnifique et tres inspirant... comment appelez vous l instrument rond que bous utiliser sur botre papier? Merci beaucoup pour votre vidéo et bravo
It is called a baron, a Pringles lid will work too 😀
that's amazing....❤❤❤

I’m thinking about making a cover for one of my sketchbooks with some of these, would you enjoy watching me do that?
