The thing I have an issue with are the people who both try to spend as little as possible per visit and expect gigantic, record breaking coasters, the people who buy canadas wonderland passes and get upset because they dont get to go to passholder events at their home park, that kind of thing. Informed decisions are important and I think the pass needs a price hike to reflect the value there, because the current price is a "no-brainer" price. I think the passes should be closer to $200
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind seeing something like darkoaster at BGW. Easily could be a great kids ride and still fit the “manor” theme they already have.
Wishful thinking, but I would love to see another Phantom Theater ride. The popularity that show got when the park introduced it several years ago is enough to convince me that it would do well.
I still think Phantom theater 2.0, but with an Intamin dynamic motion stage. After seeing Danse Macabre, and how well that would translate over to phantom theater, added together with the fact that kings island fans have been clamoring for a new dark ride for ages, I feel like it's a no brainer. And there's nothing like it anywhere near here. Maybe not even in the states at all yet.
I do appreciate that they blacklit and painted the skeletons last year. I've only been going to the park during Cedar Fair days. It wasn't until 2022 when I started riding everything
Phantom Theater would be the best choice for that space! But aside from that, I read a rumor a while back about a sort of “International Street” dark ride that would be similar to visiting different countries a la World Showcase at Epcot. That could certainly solidify the ride on IS moving forward.
Something like Toy Story Midway Mania would be awesome! And themed to Peanuts. Pretty sure they had something with a Peanuts theme for that ride in the survey.
I stopped riding Boo Blasters as the last time I rode it the gun was not working well and it seemed some of the effects didn't work. A Peanuts themed dark ride based on the TV specials while upgrading to a trackless ride system would not only fit in with Planet Snoopy but also be huge step up from the tired omnimover system currently in place. BTW, Ghostwood Estate at Kennywood is my favorite interactive dark ride.
Buy or Sell: Kings Island's Planet Snoopy is full of rides that are 4 or more decades old, such as the red barren planes. Buy or Sell Kings Island will update and or replace those kids rides with new ones. That area feels more carnival like than 2025 theme park. I don't get how we don't have a state of the art kids area when the focus for KI is on families. KI's kid area hasn't really changed in 35 years ago.
I'll be honest.. I love kings island, but what happens this year is big important to me. I'm gonna have to really see something awesome on the horizon to make me make the decision to renew my pass for 2026. I've already got my 2025 pass, but had I not bought it in October, and had waited til now, I probably wouldn't have renewed. I know it may be gnit picky... But I'm really let down with the idea of ANOTHER family coaster. If it goes in the vortex plot I'm going to be even more upset. Unless something comes up that changes my mind, I'm doing something different for 2026.
The company I work for deals with earth moving and agricultural, we are listed on the permits for 2026. I don't know what they are putting in but I do know that it is going the Vortex plot.
The “fad” of having to work to be entertained while your attention is darting all over the place to get the props to work is done. I just want to sit back and watch while I take in the enjoyable experience of the ride. When you spend your time getting frustrated at a cheap gun that will inexplicably stop working for whatever reason, you’re missing out on the other half dozen things going on around you on the ride.
Boo blasters on boo hill is nobodies beloved ride that ride SUCKS lol its total dog water it wasn't good when it was new lol a cookie cutter crappy down grade from its originally awe inspiring story telling. the guns dont work there really are no characters cept boosifer and even he barely worked lol just...not good. 2 thumbs down.
We never liked Boo-Blasters. The Smurf ride was incredible, something you would see from Disney. Phantom Theater was decent. I used to work at the park near the exit, and we'd always hear, "You'll be back! Ah-hahahaha!" Having seeing the Phantom Theater stage play at the theater near the entrance, it appeared that there was a huge interest. Maybe Kings Island was testing the waters. They did bring back the antique. That attraction is always busy, and we've visited over 50 times this past season. Nostalgia always seems to be the golden ticket.
It's in planet snoopy at this point. Saying it or the flume is not in planet/camp snoopy is splitting hairs and just trying to create friction and confusion with 98% of guests in the name of flaunting historical knowledge. It is useless info, a distinction without a difference. I get what you mean about Peanuts not being happy with that but its even more likely that theyre really happy so many parks are adding to their kids areas and implementing more Peanuts theming to those additions. With all that in mind, I would not be surprised to see Boo Blasters replaced with something Peanuts themed since it's in Planet Snoopy.

I Wish they would have kept original phantom theater. It would be a classic loved ride like monster mansion SFOG

some one saw my idea

I had not liked anything after smurfs and phantom lol but yea boo blasters is long over due
This is the only ride that I actually want to get stuck on. This is a great attraction for getting out of the heat for a bit.
Something like Toy Story Midway Mania would be awesome! And themed to Peanuts. Pretty sure they had something with a Peanuts theme for that ride in the survey.
Came here to say this as well. Agree that this would do well if the mechanics of the ride are as well performing as Toy Story Mania’s

i never got to experience Phantom theater, so my vote is for to re-do Phantom theater.
I was about to say that

The last 3 times I rode boo blasters, my gun was inoperative. I've given up on it.

Phantom Theater was beloved to me, Boo Blasters not in the slightest.

1740 top score. I'm an experienced tactical shooter and the kids hate riding that with me. Camera footage of our family on that ride would be funny
