Three issues I found after running the Holzforma g372xp pro chainsaw for a summer.

I solved the bog, stall no start issue. Turned out to be the coil. I replaced it with a new OEM coil. The saw fired right up and now runs better than it did initially. I’m sure that it revs higher than it did initially and doesn’t bog out.

Awesome information to put in our back pocket. Thanks for the update.

Loctite is your friend. Get your self a couple of OEM clips for the filter cover and you'll be off to the races.

No worse than issues with a $1500 husky in the same amount of time.

I wouldn’t expect these issues in one year from a husky. At least not their commercial size saws which this holzforma is in that category. But for the price I still think they are a good value. Just be ready to work on them some.

The cover itself was too flat. Used a dremel to put a small groove in it and solved that issue. A couple of hours running with locktite now and it hasn’t come apart again. Thanks for the comment. 👍

These saws are good but only before running it lock tight every bolt you see and put OEM recoils and ignition coils and treat like a baby

Hope you have no trouble with the main 6202 bearings. The ones in my same saw were loose in the case. They glued them in at the factory. Cases are junk now.

I have had the same G372XP saw for a year now. I have cut maybe 5 cords of wood. I was really enjoying it compared to my old Husky 268XP. Currently it starts up easily when cold but bogs out and dies after 5 minutes of running and won’t start again until the next day. I’m trying to figure it out. I have replaced the plug and am going to get a carb kit and try that, thought the local Husqvarna dealer is having difficulty finding a kit for the WALBRO HD 12B that the manual says it is equipped with. I’m starting to wonder if it’s the ignition coil. What do you guys think? The other issue I have had is that the chain brake handle broke off at the screw on the left side at -10c. I replaced it with an OEM part and it has taken a fair bit of abuse and is still in one piece. Yes, loctite the screw.

Try unscrewing the gas cap and screwing it back on. The tank vent might not be working properly.
