I have the same Ryobi power washer, GCV 190, my unloader valve consistently sprays water, so I’m assuming it is also stuck, also, I cannot get it out. I gave up on it and had to go to work, but I will try again!! Thanks

Even a dead battery will show nominal voltage (12.7V) when measured open circuit. If you want to test the battery, you need to test it under load. If the starter is turning, then you can do this by testing how low the voltage drops with the starter turning. If the voltage drops below 9.6V while cranking , then you should replace the battery

I like these old style mowers because you can likely fix anything on them yourself- not much need to take them in to the stealer for service. I mean 'dealer'.

I solved the bog, stall no start issue. Turned out to be the coil. I replaced it with a new OEM coil. The saw fired right up and now runs better than it did initially. I’m sure that it revs higher than it did initially and doesn’t bog out.

Hope you have no trouble with the main 6202 bearings. The ones in my same saw were loose in the case. They glued them in at the factory. Cases are junk now.

Holtzfforma I have had the same G372XP saw for a year now. I have cut maybe 5 cords of wood. I was really enjoying it compared to my old Husky 268XP. Currently it starts up easily when cold but bogs out and dies after 5 minutes of running and won’t start again until the next day. I’m trying to figure it out. I have replaced the plug and am going to get a carb kit and try that, thought the local Husqvarna dealer is having difficulty finding a kit for the WALBRO HD 12B that the manual says it is equipped with. I’m starting to wonder if it’s the ignition coil. What do you guys think? The other issue I have had is that the chain brake handle broke off at the screw on the left side at -10c. I replaced it with an OEM part and it has taken a fair bit of abuse and is still in one piece. Yes, loctite the screw.

Nate, I too have purchased the Holtzfforma 372XP about a 1 1/2 years ago. Haven't got it to run very long maybe 2 tanks. Opened the carb and found a small metal chip had poked a hole in the diaphragm and that's why the fuel was leaking and the plug wet. We put glue in the hole, it ran good for half a tank then the glues is gone. Ordered the kit last week, want to get it running. Your recommendations are spot on! a) tighten all screws. b) gotta love to tinker...which I don't, 3) order the extra parts kit, 4) for the money there is value for some users....I think I would have been better off going and testing more types (sizes) of saws. If I can get it running good, I will use on bigger logs with 24" blade. Thank you.

Dude oem top cover snaps do the same thing, ive replaced the snaps three times on my owm 372 , as far as the bolts coming loose loctite them

Loctite is your friend. Get your self a couple of OEM clips for the filter cover and you'll be off to the races.

No worse than issues with a $1500 husky in the same amount of time.
