Wow! This brings tears to my eyes! As I lay here, suffering from stage 4 ovarian cancer, I watch a lot of RUclips, saving videos to my watch later list that I'm basically leaving for my husband to watch after I'm gone from this earthly home. This one is definitely being added to the list!! I pray he finds comfort and does all the things that hold him back at the moment because of my health.. I want him to live a happy life throughout his days, because he deserves it more than anyone could understand. 💜
Hey girl I am so sorry to hear about your prognosis and I'm gonna be adding you to my prayers tonight. Prayers that you also find peace and comfort in your time of cloudy dark painful days. I have lost family to similar cancers. Cancer is pure evil. I hope you know though you touched a strangers heart tonight and you have a beautiful soul. God be with you🤟🤟
Dear Ms Georgia, I came from a home where scientific materialism was the rule. For a decade, when I was a teenager, I tried to see life trough this scope, against my intuition. This until a few situations brought paranormal/spiritually charged phenomenon in my life. And then, I think, I rekindled with my true self. I am now 42 and, after having read, heard indirect and direct testimonies about the afterlife, I firmly believe that our earthly life is, in regard of our soul’s existence, like going to the corner’s convenient store for 5 minutes. I don’t know exactly why I wanted to share this with you. Something between the lines of your comment, I reckon, made me think that you believe in the afterlife, but maybe needed reassurance. So let me share this with you. My aunt and godmother died ten years ago of pancreatic cancer. What was so frustrating for her loved ones was that, of all persons we knew, she was the one that had taken the best care of her (and her family’s) health, all her life. A few mounts ago, I thought of her and went very sad. It was past midnight, my wife and daughter were asleep. I cried silently for 15 minutes, maybe, and then I told aloud my aunt: « Please, L., do something so I can know you’re ok right now. I miss you so much; at least, I want to know you are well... ». I wish I could tell you that something physical happened right after, like a book dropping from a shelf, etc. But no. Rather, something way more significant happened ten minutes later. I don’t know if you ever smoked, but I struggled with this habit, on and off for two decades. There is not a cigarette I smoke which does not make me think: I have to quit. That night, after my emotions, I went outside for you know what. I had a disposable lighter. Usually, before fully emptying those, you get like 5 to 10 shots of a reduced flame before it goes out. Well, that day, that quite « fresh » lighter, that had worked flawlessly all day, went bust after my friendly request. It might be a coincidence... but knowing L., I think that this was her doing. This gesture was all her. Her husband (my uncle) agreed with me. Ms Georgia, I wish you, your husband and your loved ones, all the love in the world these days. I wish for you all the Light you might need.
Oh dear, So sorry Georgia, I pray for the lord's comfort and love to surround you during this challenging time, I pray you will know his peace & reassurance! 🙏 Remember, this earth is a temporary place for all of us. John 16: 33 - In this world we'll face tribulations/troubles, but in Jesus Christ we will have peace, the Lord wants us to be of good cheer, because He has the ultimate plan for our lives. As long as we have Jesus in our heart, this is not the end, but the beginning!!! We will meet our loved ones again. Revelations 21:4 God will wipe away every tear, there will be no more crying or pain........🙏♥️🙏
A-men brother. My wife passed on April 13 2022. I sold the house, bought a bushwacker teardrop and a new SUV to tow it. I’m 26 years old with advanced stage 4 breast cancer. My birthday is 11/15. That hit me right in the heart. She does want you to be happy. She wants you to feel her smiling until you’re with her again.
Wow. I truly hope you g in remission and eh chance to live to the fullest until you are ready to go. Close friend of mine in her late 20s beat stage 3 recently. I know it’s possible. 💋💋💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I am very sorry to hear your diagnosis and you will be in my thoughts. I hope you have a good support system. I do not so I would be so lost if I was in your shoes. I’m sending you a big virtual hug friend! May healing come to you sooner than later ❤️
@@brooklynbarbie6855 I didn’t have a great support system until I was diagnosed. But now I really do. And new view on life and community. Thank you so much :)
Meredith I truly hope you know Jesus Christ as your savior, because He is Hope Everlasting for eternal life and redemption with our Creator. He loves you and wants a relationship with you.
What a wonderful way to honor your wife. Thank you for your service, enjoy your adventure! My wife (33 years) would also want me to travel and enjoy life should she pass. Retire Navy myself…
You can hear the pain in this mans voice but hes a warrior and chooses to walk the path of happiness. Bless you brother i hope you have the best adventures!
The green caught my eye. Roy reminds me of an old Army buddy. He has reminded us that our time in this world is too short and we need to cherish every moment.
Sir, Thank You For Your Service🥁 Prayer For You, In The Passing Of Your Wife🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Wishing You And Your Pet To Make Great-Enjoyable-Memories❤💛🙏🏽🙏🏽❤💛❤🙏🏽🙏🏽
Roy enjoy your journey and it's phenomenally wonderful and you are honoring your wife. I thank you so much for your services and it is an honor to have met you through this wonderful interview.
Beautiful! I'm so sorry for your loss my brother. She definitely would want you to be happy. As a woman going through cancer now, I would want my hubster to be happy. He built me a camper in our suburban & I love it! I can't get out because I'm so weak but I can enjoy watching him fish & I enjoy the fresh air & scenery. He made it to where I have all the I need. I pray for you to have many safe & beautiful travels. Thank you for your service Sir. May God bless you🙏❤️🤟
Hey RUclips family!!! I lost my wife on August 6th 2019 and I'm still having a very hard time getting through life without my life partner and I can use any help that I can get... I'm a single dad with 2 boys and I can't help them unless I help myself...
Hi, I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for you. Please reach out to someone to talk to. I’ve found that in tough times sharing your thoughts with someone can help quite a bit. Your boys need you, and reaching out will set a great example. Condolences.
"He's on a journey", every word of that registers for me! I'm currently running the "rat race", but while I'm nearly debt free the ability to afford buy my own FREEDOM is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to see where my own "journey" takes me.
This guy is dealing with pain in the best way he can. You can tell there is very little he gets excited about, but the whole time he was talking about his car, and his layout, he was happy the whole time, excited for new ideas. He really is handling pain the best way he can.
I love this man, he’s still so in love with his passed wife, his life, and his dog. No matter where he is, is home to him because he has his wife in his heart everyday and his dog to travel with for companionship ❤ rip to this man’s wife I hope he’s still doing amazing!
My wife passed January 6 after 38 years I’m 58 and living in car that would be a nice set up you got. Wife’s are a blessing from god and see her smile and eyes every day. American is beautiful. God bless
Dude I lost my wife of 36 years to cancer Nov 19. I’ve been running out to the woods too…most of the summer actually. It’s very helpful, peaceful. Good luck on your travels. We got this brother. Really tough and some days are just about unbearable. Keep moving, stay strong and also take time to be just miserable. It’s part of the deal.
Psalm 91 King James Version 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
This is one of my favorite projects it was an Honor to set Roy up for his journey in perfect style for him and in remembrance of his wife. We wish him the best over at culleys customs!
Can you reach him and tell him people wanna follow his channel and there are so many of us who have lost our spouses we would love to support him in his journey or just be an inspiration. Thank u
Lost my wife of 22 years just over 9 years ago. No children. I have my mother who is slowly dying from dementia and 1 sister. The dreams I have of my wife are lucid. In the dream I know she's dead and that I am dreaming. Beyond that there's a laundry list of things that I am dealing with health issues and no money. I heavily contemplated suicide and in my mind it's actually logical and makes sense. But I'm stubborn and I'm pissed off. It's like you waited in line a long time to see a 3-hour movie and the movie's been crappy but there's only 20 minutes of it left. So I'll be damned if I get up and walk out of the movie theater before it's over and it's over when God calls me home. Next year I'll have just enough money to buy a motorcycle in the gear that I need and I'm going to Mexico and destinations South I don't know what's going to happen but I'm going anyway. It's either that or stay home and continue to drink myself to death. It's a big boat there are lots of men in my situation or very similar circumstances. I have no words of wisdom other than to tell you you're not the only one.
lol when i was early 20s and suicidal, i said fuck it ima die doing crazy shit, now im a fuckin wild land firefighter lmfao. get it done buddy, get that fuckin motorcycle.
I wish him a safe and peaceful experience on travels. He is on the right track and like many will figure things out. His wife is right there with him and his pup.❤
@@nunyabizz7345 I'm not able to answer that question. I don't know him personally. All I know about him are the qualities I listed above. Why? Do you have a different opinion of men who honor their wives, love their dogs, and love and serve their country?
Thank you for your service to this country Mr. Roy! My husband shared this video with me and it brought tears to my eyes to hear your story, and read the supportive comments. He and I are on the same journey enjoying eachother, sometimes traveling with our kids (dog included), exploring all 50 states. One thing's for sure, tomorrow is not promised! I would want him to do the same in the event of my death. I pray that you and Dano enjoy the journey - such a beautiful way to cope, find your peace and honor your late wife. Blessings!
What a sick, super cozy looking rig. I love the whole setup. One thing i miss most about the army is the days in the field camping, this rig has that vibe. It's perfect and a great way to honor someone you love and have lost..by living.
I'm a retired career firefighter from Australia, my wife passed away a few years ago. I now have 3 rescue dogs which have been an absolute blessing. Good luck to you sir and thank you for your military service
Navy Veteran here. His story hits hard. In short, thank you for your service and wish you all the best on your travels. Enjoy yourself. Also, appreciate you for featuring this guy. Very impactful.

I lost my soulmate to brain cancer in October 2011. We were wanderers but I lost the passion for exploring after I lost her. Eleven years later I'm finally getting myself sorted to wander again with just my dawg and a ute. Roy has an excellent setup. Brilliant stuff.
November 17 was the 11 month anniversary of losing my own soulmate of 37 years. The grief is still completely raw. Maybe someday I'll be able to get out again but like you I've lost the will to do much of anything. I hope one day that I to will be able to see the light again.
I can feel his grief while he's describing his setup and then add his little touches about her. My love of 40+ years passed away from covid February 10,2022, we both had it at the same time, he was admitted, and I was released with rx's. We loved fishing, and our favorite times were roughing it in a van or overhead camper. We just enjoyed ourselves so much, I still think he's out on a run and will get a call from him coming home. 💔 I've been looking at overhead campers, but they are costly and will need to upgrade our truck if I do. The class B rv is also a thought, don't mind if it's an older model either. The few times that I've gone fishing have been with my daughters and I bring his chair with me. I can't stand the quiet ,he was my social butterfly and such a gentle bear of a man. ❤️ 💔 ❤️ I miss you BABE 😔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔
Roy, look forward to your channel, and there is an old saying:" May the wind always be at your back and the sun in your face and a star above guiding you to that place ".🙏, after everything you've been through and everything you have done, I feel there is a journey out there worthy of a man like you 🙂. And if you are ever in the buckeye state on your journey? You and Dano would be my honored guests any time. ✌
Does this guy have a channel? Would love to see more from him. These guys that are real and have a cross to bare can teach us all something about life. Great video
Mine passed June of 2016 sorry for both your losses I know how it feels losing my wife so young makes it so much worse wish I had travel money like this. Respect to you brother
Lost my wife on Thanksgiving 2016 and have been just working and going home, I just bought a 1999 Dodge conversion van and in 2023 the adventure begins.
Have fun but please try to resist what this guy has done . He is hauling a lot of gear around already and looking to increase on it . Keep it simple and enjoy the journey . For a fridge buy a gas +12 volt , they work great
My fiancé passed Nov 15 2018 it still seems like yesterday though. I went on a journey across country and back afterwards and it truly helped me heal. I’ll never be the same but it gave me the strength to continue and I know for sure he was with me and sending me signs the whole time. Safe travels my brother enjoy your journey ❤
I am 33. Was married for 15 years. My wife passed away March 24 2022. I also bought a travel trailer when we found out she had stage 4 stomach cancer. She fought for a year and a half. I was able to travel with her and our girls during her treatments. Keep pushing forward my friend, we will see our wives soon.
That's dope I got colon cancer at the beginning of last year im a former professional disc golfer and unable to compete due to my health respect brother it's a rough road especially with no insurance at my age I just gotta live it out keep on keeping on brother RIP to your wife
His wife definitely sent the dog as a companion. 💓 I love how he implemented the constellation. Safe travels to him. I'll be looking out for his RUclips channel.
I love this guy, the guy filming all of this made this mans day, week, possibly even his year by stopping by and showing legitimate and sincere interest in what he has going on.....human to human contact is everything.
yeah you never know what kind of mind state he's in after such a loss. So by taking interest in his story it shows that people care and are interested.
A few ideas: 1- think about weight distribution. In your car and trailer, heavy things go down. Lighter stuff go up. 2- Try not to have things like the briefcase on the roof. It will get stolen and it decreases the aerodynamics of the rig. It's always better to fit everything in the car 1st and the then the trailer. On the trailer should be the exception. 3- insulate the fridge, both inside and out. A clean blanket inside over your food and a 2 or 3 cm insulation panel cut and pasted on the outside or an insulation bag that fits the fridge. It will use less electricity to get to the temperature and stay cold longer. Also, a full fridge uses less power than an empty one. 4- A wireless thermometer that connects either to your phone or to a screen to check t°, it's a few dollars on Amazon. You will worry no more 5- a security belt for the dog would be wise in case you have to break hard. 6- there are systems that connect your battery system to the car and you can charge while driving. Just plug in and recharge your system. Just don't forget to unplug when you stop. Then solar panels will be the backup. 7- if it gets really hot, extend a big tarp between the trees, above your trailer, facing the mid day sun. It will reflect the sun and your trailer will stay fresh. A Light color tarp will reflect more sun. Get a good one like DD hammocks. Your dog will appreciate. And you will sleep better. 8- if you want to plug in to the grid when you stop for the day, don't bother with that 30kg gas tank. Just buy a 60$ amazon induction cooking stove. When off grid when your batteries are full, just go ahead and cook. And no risk of fire, that's always good. Then buy a smaller version of your tank. Hope it helps and see you when you launch your channel. Have fun
I've lived this way and you give A+ sound advice. I found the longer I went the more I realized I didn't need. You really start to weigh your creature comforts and gear against how much of a pain they are to set up and haul.
Perseverance. The true measure of a man is not how he lives when things are going well but how he copes when they do not. He lost the love of his life but found two great things to do: care for the dog and travel. Hats off to him.
Oh man, that’s just fantastic! That dude is doing the things, carrying some weight but processing the pain and finding the beauty out there that can sustain and heal oneself. I wish him all the best and really hope to see more from him on his journey.
Much respect in my condolence to you I understand what you're going through I'm going through the same I'm a single father of three kids my kid's mother been passed away 5 years I was with her since she was 18 and a half till she turned 34
You are not alone my uncle who is 50 now lost his wife in 2011i think at the age of 34 to breast cancer. He was left raising 3 children (boy and 2 girls) Hi wife my friend passed the day after the babygirl turned 3. They are doing well and the son is an adult now, the oldest girl is a senior in high grade school and the baby girl is a freshman. My uncle has recently found new love. I hope this encourages you because I know it’s hard.
Thank you, Roy, for your service, and your work as a nurse. You are living the next chapter of your life in a very inspirational way with your travels, dog, and camping. As you heal and move forward, I wish you a meaningful and memorable journey. Your wife would be happy, no doubt. Thank you for this video, Off Grid Adventure!
We have a lot in common brother. It has been nearly 10 years since my wife of 27 years left this earth. Our 6 children and now 4 grandchildren are everything to me. I'm here for a purpose, and it always includes her spirit. I ride a bicycle and travel as far as I can packed with everything I need. Hearing your planning nature really gives me a brotherly feeling. Be safe, and loved✌️
I lost my mother in January, but my father lost his wife of 41 years as well….From your perspective, what are some things kids can do to help a grieving parent?
@@tswagg504 thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for your family's loss, it's difficult for sure. The question I asked myself early on was what would my wife want for me and all her children want? When spoken out loud it gives comfort to know our loved one wants nothing but happiness not unending sorrow. The love you all share lives on forever if you remember her wishes of seeking happiness. Understand your Dad is going to go through ups and downs because those 41 years are engraved into his soul and hard to change even when it's for the best. Asking how he's doing is the best form of empathy, and it will allow his story to come out. All my best to your family.
@@mi2b824 Thanks Kieth, you have a great day and week. I’ll be sure to ask him how he’s feeling. Me and my dad never used to talk about feelings but now is time for that change
You can't help but respect someone who focuses on the positive things in life and relegates the negative as best as he can. P.S. Having the unconditional love of a dog always makes things better.
Man I'm feeling what this dude is going thru. He hasn't even gone through all the grief steps yet. 6 months? His desire to get away from he and his wife's home, but not get rid of it is the bargaining stage of grief. He hasn't accepted it yet. Poor guy. He's got his shit together but losing your S.O. will make a man let shit go a little. I hope his trip helps him deal with her death. Having a dog is a big plus. Good video bro!
What a legendary Man! This whole video made me smile. Such a positive interaction, and so meaningful. I love it when you just happen to run across people like this. There’s a lot of trash on RUclips, and the rest of the internet/social media also. This restores my faith in humanity. I’ll be looking for Roy’s channel ASAP. Good work!
FEAR NOT THE MESS ROY, WE LOVE AND CARE FOR YOU! Thank You for sharing Roy's story and his home. My prayers go out to him and all who have lost and are searching for meaning. You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
This guy is a strong man. I’m sorry for your loss brother and thank you for your service. I hope you have many days of joy and happiness and remembrance of your wife.
That is one of the most inspiring things I've ever heard. So sorry for your loss. I've been with my wife 40 years 38 married and I can't imagine how bad that hurts. I'll be looking for your channel.
My husband passed away and I am traveling the country transporting pets and stealth camping, I have fun but occasionally get lonely however I never regret the adventure!
I’m sorry about the loss of your husband. I like the sound of transporting pets for people, is that something that you are doing for people you know or is it like, a service thing with a company that specializes in it? It certainly would give me a better sense of comfort to send my loved pet that way instead of in a the cargo hold of a plane. Gas prices aren’t great these days but if someone else is paying for gas then seems like it could be a nice way to just have some time for yourself and your own thoughts while still having some companionship with the animals. Safe travels!
No matter what life goes on. Nice of you to share Roy’s story. Love the setup 🥰. Everyone copes in different ways with losing someone and bringing something positive to his life in memory of his wife is an inspiration. Enjoy your journey Roy!
Lost my husband in 2018, have struggled to keep the house since! Im finally letting it go, and getting my health on track then plan to travel with our dog...a healing journey, funding it hopefully by camp hosting in summer! Enjoy your journey! ❤✌🙏💪

props to my man right here, i lost my wife, 2 dogs lou and pierre. son, mother-n-law, dad and grandmother in 2020. I got my conversion van and hit the road, I write this in my van 2 years later, the evolution of your living arrangements will never stop. My batteries went out 2 weeks ago so i hit a setbsck but I'm redoing the conversion with upgrades so it'll soon be even better, love that little friend of yours and everyone you can. most importantly, love yourself and stop to smell the flowers and take a picture of those flowers and share those pictures and paint a picture of that picture on the roof of your ride. Live on brother.
You, sir, are the strongest person I've ever heard of. The fact that you're not at the bottom of a bottle somewhere, or worse, shows your true character. I hope the rest of your life shows you nothing but happiness
This hits to the core. I wish someone donates a van life for him to make easier for him to travel and his dog. I love his current state but seems he needs a little bit of room. Can we help him out and give him a van for all the things he needs to make it easier in him? I wish I could help him out on his travels to make him happier.
Love this set up and this veteran deserves the peace and joy he earned. Beautiful pup. I’m sorry to hear about his wife. Hope he gets his channel going, I would enjoy his content. Great video.
I have my wife and I love her, I couldn't imagine going through what this man has been through, but his story helps to guide me and make me realize I should continue to thank God for what I have and not dwell on things that don't really matter. Thank you for your service and continue to keep your wife smiling
God bless that guy in all his travels! None of us live long enough or strong enough. It's sad that his wife passed. He's finding the will to carry on, and having a dog for emotional support is good therapy.
I love this. I was married for 30 years as well and my husband passed away from terminal cancer in 2019. They say time heals but it really never does, you just have an easier time moving forward after a loss but you never stop grieving. Not a day goes by when I don't think about him and miss him. One thing that I learned after that experience is life is so precious and short. Enjoy every day, and your journey.

This is a man that would be worth keeping in contact with, he’s on a journey and worth learning from.
he’s probably learned a lot going on that traveling journey i envy this man as i come back to video it makes my life seem so easy…..
"He's on a journey", every word of that registers for me! I'm currently running the "rat race", but while I'm nearly debt free the ability to afford buy my own FREEDOM is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to see where my own "journey" takes me.
He gets it. I may have waited to long to figure it all out. Wishing him the very best.
This guy is dealing with pain in the best way he can. You can tell there is very little he gets excited about, but the whole time he was talking about his car, and his layout, he was happy the whole time, excited for new ideas.
He really is handling pain the best way he can.
100 percent correct. He’s doing his best. Bless this man.
that and his dog! i’m glad he has him and this journey to help him through this horrible time
Its so insane that in the richest country in the world people are forced to live this way and this is better than what most live

Psalm 91
King James Version
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

This is one hell of a movie!🤔
Praying for you brother.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my husband to glioblastoma. Witnessing what that disease did forever changed me. Happy wandering.

I've been looking at overhead campers, but they are costly and will need to upgrade our truck if I do.
The class B rv is also a thought, don't mind if it's an older model either. The few times that I've gone fishing have been with my daughters and I bring his chair with me.

yeah you never know what kind of mind state he's in after such a loss. So by taking interest in his story it shows that people care and are interested.
What a nice guy, feel bad about him losing his wife. I hope he gets to all 50 states.
I hope nothing but good things happen to this gentleman on his journey. Find your happy place and set up camp.
Traveling light is always best.

You can't help but respect someone who focuses on the positive things in life and relegates the negative as best as he can. P.S. Having the unconditional love of a dog always makes things better.
Wow this man’s story is moving. I hope he finds solace in his travels and gets closer to his wife’s spirit. I know his dog will look out for him.
Well said
I agree well said
What a legendary Man!
When a heart is lost and broken, not one person should judge or demand "civilized " patterns of behavior. Roy is a beautiful human being still struggling for the day. My prayers go out to him and all who have lost and are searching for meaning.
You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
YOUR comment made me cry..... 🙏🏽
This guy is a strong man. I’m sorry for your loss brother and thank you for your service. I hope you have many days of joy and happiness and remembrance of your wife.
Best of luck to you and your dog, Roy❗️
Be sure to come back and post a link once you get your channel going!!! 😁
Look for others on quests and see if you can join a hero's party. Could lead to a grand adventure.
God bless and much love from Scotland 🏴 stay strong the journey gets tough but the sun ☀️ always shines when you are on the road 🛣️
Stay safe out there. Happy travels.
So sorry for you're loss
this guy seems awesome. i hope he’s doing good.
This is super inspirational! I wish him and his pup the absolute best on their adventures. Hope he starts the RUclips channel as well! 😀🙌
No matter what life goes on. Nice of you to share Roy’s story. Love the setup 🥰. Everyone copes in different ways with losing someone and bringing something positive to his life in memory of his wife is an inspiration. Enjoy your journey Roy!
Thank for stopping in. Well said!
One thing I always remember when I begin a road trip is The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with One Step ! Lao Tzu
Lost my husband in 2018, have struggled to keep the house since! Im finally letting it go, and getting my health on track then plan to travel with our dog...a healing journey, funding it hopefully by camp hosting in summer!
Enjoy your journey! ❤✌🙏💪
Thank you for sharing. My deepest condolences on the loss of your wife. I'm also retired federal employee and veteran. My wife is 68 years old and I'm very protective of her. She's my life partner. Have a fun and safe adventure young man!
Good on you Roy! Im sure your wife is watching over you with such joy seeing you living out your dream to travel the states. Keep us posted when you start your YT page, a lot of us want to live vicariously through you and Danno . May the Eye Of Horus continue to heal you and keep you both safe on your journey.
After my husband passed, I floundered around in a daze for at least two years, I now feel like traveling, taking our plans to go on the road solo. Thank you for your inspirational channel and the love for your wife is palpable 💫💥
If you go on road solo please be careful
I am so sorry that your wife passed. It makes us realize that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone. I love your setup and your will to live life to the fullest.

Keep loving on her! That’s how it should be 😘👏🏾
Roy is an amazing dude! Keep on keeping on man, much love and respect to you and ur puppyboy 💚♾️✝️
Wow Roy's got a great setup and I like how he's managing his grief by travelling in nature it's a great healer and I wish him all the best for the future
Does Roy have any contact info? Thanks for the video. I understand his pain as I lost my wife as well and a veteran as well. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing
He doesn't have a RUclips channel as yet.....
@@gutchiespencer1227 alright thank you. I’m thinking of a similar setup with my Crosstrek
props to my man right here, i lost my wife, 2 dogs lou and pierre. son, mother-n-law, dad and grandmother in 2020.
Dude what? How old are you? I wouldn't have the strength to deal with that pain. I'd die of sadness on the spot.
❤❤
Rip to your beautiful family members. I’m very sorry for your losses and I hope you are doing okay.
Props to you both ❤
You, sir, are the strongest person I've ever heard of.
This man has a good head on his shoulders and a great outlook at life. I wish more people could follow his lead.
… because another good person with a good head recognized another… peace
What a wonderful man, I'm sorry for his loss but he's making the best of his life now! Thank you for sharing this with us.
I can't imagine the pain he must feel after losing his wife but I'm so glad he is finding joy in his life.
It's heart wrenching.. It's been, 3 years for me since my Husband passing and it's a lot.. I totally understand him 💜
Sending love to Roy, so sorry for his loss but good to see him out there doing it
He’s got it going on. I’m glad to see he’s found some inspiration at such a difficult time.
Sometimes the difficult time IS the motivation.
So sorry to hear, may you find peace and healing quickly. Is Chris short for "Christina" or for Christopher? Just curious 🤔
This man has a heart n a story. I wish we could get updates from him on his journey. I'd subscribe
I’m a widow with an infant my husband passed while I was pregnant with our only ❤
Condolences. I am sorry to hear this, and it must be extremely difficult. Stay strong.
you guys are going to be ok 👌❤
