if you re-wind to pre 90ies there's a tone of amp equipment using female XLR's on both ends as a make shit speakon style connector. A lot of people run an NL4 with 2 conductor speaker cable because they fit into the same sockets and the NL2 is basically impossible to disassemble and reassemble if you need to service it.
Great stuff again Adam.. that's another lesson plan for my production students done for September lol. I did know this but its always stuff you can take for granted, cheers
no but ide love to know why the X touch one talks to Reaper but the channels don't change on the screen and the mouse doesn't change the controller? just got it yesterday lol
This should be required watching for everyone. Well done, smashing video!!!
Great attitude. Great info!

Yeah I’ve got a Trace Elliot amp like that, but I didn’t want to confuse things because that fell by the wayside over 20 years ago, thankfully
I wish this video existed when I was first getting started LOL
So do I ..but we had no internet then lol
I‘m getting started

What cable do you use on your studio monitors,! I got mogami 2549 but idnt like the sound of it on my studio monitors.
Whatever fits, if your cables are wired correctly you really shouldn’t be hearing a difference
you could do one one how not to fry things (like mac books with 48v phantom power and the wrong cables!)
Always use a DI to bring up the signal correctly. end of video.
OOOmph should be a technical term.
