    Dude. Holy cannoli. You write beautiful metal tunes. I read somewhere that you've written a large amount of BOO's songs, which doesn't surprise me after hearing this. Also, this video made me chuckle, but like a witch cackle. …. … I laugh like a witch.

    you can set the drag mode to X-Fade
    then Logic will show a crossfade if you overlap the regions.
    so you can tell if you are right on the grid or if you overshot it and have to adjust it.

    that 1 is 1 millisecond
    that might be too short to provide a smooth crossfade.
    most professionals use 5-8 milliseconds.

    Any benefit / downside to using one method over the other? If method 2 is so much faster why not just do that?

    • @CameronLosch

      I do not recommend method two because it will destroy the audio quality. I stopped doing it that way

    im genuinely curious as to why you made this video? why would anyone want to record something they cannot play? thats just... lame

    • @CameronLosch
      @CameronLosch  3 года назад +12

      I am the drummer in my band but I also write songs (including guitar parts)
      So people who are better guitarists than me can actually play what I’ve written. Also, not everything you record has to be played live. Lighten up and open your mind! Don’t take this too seriously

    • @CameronLosch
      @CameronLosch  3 года назад +7

      So to answer your question I made this video to help drummers record guitar 😂

    • @25stealthshooter
      @25stealthshooter 3 года назад +2

      @@CameronLosch this is definitely not unobtainable... but nothings worse than when guitar players write drums that have you choking two cymbals, gravity blasting, while hitting a cowbell at the same time.

    • @GODElRigna
      @GODElRigna 3 года назад +1

      @@25stealthshooter If it sounds good and is never played live. It does not matter. If it is played live then that changes everything.

    • @25stealthshooter
      @25stealthshooter 3 года назад +1

      @@GODElRigna yeah it’s all subjective. In my opinion if something isn’t possible for a human being as in three cymbal chokes at the same time... as a drummer I automatically think it sounds like shit. But that’s just me
