- This video is a how to on removing the door trim for a 2012 Nissan Sentra. For the purpose of the video I am replacing the speakers but you could also use this for replacing other things such as the power window controls as well. I’m glad I watched this I didn’t know the speaker brackets were star bits! I would’ve been pissed if I did all that and I didn’t have that bit haha

@@thereviewandhowto2550 Great vid man, but yeah, get a grippy tripod, they are real cheap. Clamp it on the steering wheel or a floor jack handle and you are golden.

Was there a huge difference once you changed the speakers? Like, clarity and bass wise.
Noah Ortega huge. Bass was def stronger but the clarity also went up a lot. I would say it is def worth it

Noah Ortega I was super happy with mine. I think they are all good choices but for price to performance I think they got the other two beat.
can you do a video on how to manually put up wondows
The factory woofers are 2ohm ans you replaced them with a 4 ohm woofer so you are going to lose some output. Seems like there is a decent amount of mounting depth in there I want to replace the woofer in my 2011 that has the Rockford System and wanted to see what kind of depth I had to work with since Crutchfield is recommending a crappy woofer replacement. I will source 2 ohm woofers though.
Will this be the same or very similar to the 2010 Sentra
R Bishop yes it should. 2007 -2012 are the same generation so very little should change from each year.
You gotta use the same method on the rear doors or?
Yes pretty much the same process for the rear doors to remove them

What was the wiring harness you used
Israel Guerra it was a metra wiring harness. I’ll look to see about getting you the exact one. But that was the brand name of it if that helps

Israel Guerra it was so long ago I can’t see it in my eBay cart just that it was a metra wire harness. If you type it into eBay with your year and model it should come up and say if it is compatible. Same for amazon. It’s not a bad install either. And Nissan did a great job by having 6x9 speakers for the front and back so it will sound great once you set it up

Wheres the video of your door removal? Change your title so it matches your video.
For crying out loud, get someone else to hold the camera. The work you're doing on the door isn't being recorded. But there's a clear view of everything else EXCEPT what you're doing.
