If every tutorial was this way the world would be a better place. Awesome thank you
Thanks! 😁
@@DIYtime Can you lift the window control panel without removing anything else? Great tutorial thank you!
This what I'm talking about. Straight to business none of that talking mess. Great video.
Thanks!
Thank you for having a straight forward answer to my question. Wish all DIY videos were like this. If you want a story put it at the end of the vid. Thanks again!
Thanks!
Simple, fast, and straight to the point! Love it, and thank you!
This was amazingly well done! Well thought out, recorded simply, and a huge help. I am replacing my own front window switches and this video was perfect.
Best car video I’ve seen, super to the point. No pointless talking and shows exactly what needs to be seen 👍
You just helped me out immensely! The knob to adjust the mirrors fell inside the door panel and you showed how easy it is to troubleshoot.
This was the best video I found because it was short and sweet and helped me. I didn’t have to listen to all the commentary, I just watch the steps. Perfect
Best video ever ! Not too much talking and right to the point all videos should be like this one
By far one of the very best disassembly videos on RUclips.
Thanks for such a quality video!
Just changed out my driver side mirror due to this video, thank you very much 🙏🏾🙌🏾✌🏾
Great example, great camera work, very easy to follow along #DIY
Simple and to the point, really nice video. I hate drawn out videos that get no where. Nice job
Thanks!
Very helpful video. Replaced my mirror using these steps
Great job. I need to do this for my front door check replacing.

Thanks! As a matter of fact, I am doing rear breaks this week. I plan to record it.
Installing new subwoofers on a 07 Altima. Great vid.
Thanks!
I’m about to help my friend with his car. I really hope it goes as smooth as this video depicts 😂😭 all I know is my door panel was a PAIN in the ass
The video is sooooo gooooood! Many thanks,
This was the best video that I have seen with no unnecessary speaking. The installation is a bit trickier. Those plastic snaps are weak.

Thanks!
0:26-CAUTION! If you have the Nissan Altima Coupe, DO NOT try to remove this piece of fabric trim! I learned that the hard way, when I damaged the door panel trying to do what he is doing here. (I fixed the panel with hot glue.) This procedure is for the SEDAN, whose door panel is a different animal than the Coupe's.
To remove the door panel on the Coupe, first remove the plastic cover behind the door handle (like with the Sedan) and the screw behind it. Next, remove the window/door lock switches (as demonstrated at 1:11). This will expose one large bolt, which holds the panel to the door. The other bolt is hidden beneath the silver or wood-tone trim strip. Remove this strip (pushing out one or two of the snaps from behind in the door lock switch cavity helps get this started) and remove the other large bolt. Finally, remove the panel light and the panel as demonstrated at 1:50.
Damn, read this an hour too late haha. RIP to the plastic posts...
Wow thank you for the heads up!

Perfect video I am going try tomorrow in the morning the new dashboard cost me $35 plus tax = $43
Not bad!
Hi I’m curious if you did a video on replacing the part in the door that works with the keyfob. I have a 2012 and mine has been messed up for a while. I have to manually lock/unlock the door.
No, mine still works ok.
this video is awesome! is it pretty much the same technique for a nissan altima coupe?
+gl85035
It sould be pretty similar in general.
+Temachok It is actually quite different. The piece of fabric trim which he is removing at 0:26 is integral to the door panel on the Coupe and is not removable. The third step in this demonstration (removing the window/door lock switches) is the second step for the Coupe. One of the two large bolts that hold the panel to the door is hidden underneath the door lock switch assembly, while the other bolt is hidden beneath a silver or wood-tone trim strip, which must be pried off (step three) to expose and remove it. Finally, remove the panel light and the panel as demonstrated at 1:50.
Thank u very brothuh
My pleasure!
Thank you!!
👌🏼
@@DIYtime the only difference between the 4dr and the 2dr is that the padded arm rest doesn't come out. It is the trim panel on the handle that pops out, revealing the last bolt. I broke 6 of the plastic melt pins. Loctite glue to the rescue! Other than that it was smooth!
👍🏼
Thanks I have an 08 which I want to wrap the doors!
👍🏻
Do you also have a video on the rear door-panel removal? Thanks!
+kingbotz
No, but I guess I could shoot one really quick...
+Temachok Awesome, thanks!!!
Thank you!!!
My pleasure!
@@DIYtime followed you video, was bang on. Pulled door apart and of course window worked fine. Lubed it up and we will see how it goes. Much appreciated.
👌🏻
Mi pierta no quiere abrir se cerro se abre el seguro y todo biem pero no abrio como le quito el panel si no puede abrir
Is it easy to replace the power window switch
Yes, very easy.
Sooooo i have a question what if your door won't open how do you get that off?
I guess u could say silence speaks thousands of words
😁
So, to fix my side view mirror, I'm going to have to pull the whole door panel off?
+Jared B
I think yes.
Nissan altima best car ever
can i bang out a dent by doing this? looks like its not accessible
+sam morgano
May be.
Give it a try, it only takes a few minutes to remove panel.
Use a finesse stick rather than screw driver to prevent scratching plastic
Easy to take off the doors just tryna see so I can take the trim off to tint the windows lol
Is there access to get to the window I need to get my window back on track I don't want to go through all that if there isn't even access to the window
Yes, there is, after you remove the door panel.
So i'm guessing all those models have the same door?
I need to get my panel off but my door won't open lol I followed every step but because door won't open I can't get it off haha
I really enjoy plans from woodprix.
Do not try this if you have the Nissan Altima COUPE or your arm rest will need to be replaced.
Why doesn't any one show how to get door open to take the panel off
🤨Huh...!?
@@DIYtime I have a nissan altima that the door is locked from the inside and outside. Everyone says take door panel off however I cant get the door open to work on it
You can try to take off the arm support piece and see if you can reach the door handle cable (see in the end of the video). Pull on that cable and door should open.
@@DIYtime Thank you. I will let you know if I get it. :)
