@I I was 3
Paul was always the heart of the movies, that's the problem. His absence left a gaping hole that they're struggling to fill from a writing perspective not to even talk about how devastated the entire group was about his death. The entire plot of the eighth movie made little sense and ruined (for me anyway) the credibility of the movie - if Dom goes rogue, you call Brian - period. and if you don't, he'll find out anyway and come running. The fact that it didn't/couldn't happen - and that they obviously tried to fill the gap left by Brian with some other random character...it crippled the movie. Now with the plot of this new movie and some of the crap they're pulling...it's just...it's really not the same Fast and the Furious that the first seven were. I'll always love the series but I'm relieved to hear that the tenth one will be the last.
His brother looks like him and filled in.They should have a talk with him and get him some serious acting lessons--then again they do not have to write extreme moods for brian and he should be fine.pauls character was not pushing the "acting" envelope.
They are trying to fill some of the gaps by bringing back beloved Han and even Sean, but it will never be the same without him for sure. Narratively Brian made the choice to completely 100% distance himself from the crime, it would be nice if he came back but at the same time it makes sense that he can't just come back for every little thing that Dom gets into trouble.
@@fourthpanda uh, Brian has never been able to distance himself, which is why he flipped when he was a cop. So that’s just terrible writing. And Dom defecting and working with a global threat isn’t a ‘small’ thing.
@@ml0723 he didn't really defect though, it was all for a good cause.
