Though Skyrim wasn't as influential on me as Oblivion, I still remember my time there fondly. This is pretty much everything I'd ever want out of a Elder Scrolls cover, and it really made me relive my many hours spent in another world.
I am very impressed Mr. Waters, I have heard dozens of renditions of this song and almost all of them completely missed the reason I love this song: the peacefulness, and you managed to make an electronic version as relaxing as the original. My highest kudos to you sir.
Your music is always so peaceful to listen to. I feel that listening to this; I can close my eyes and smell cool crisp air. See pale snowflakes softly falling past tall cedar trees.
Nice and peaceful, and subtle enough that I could play it during Christmas dinner and not have the family know they're listening to video game music. It's so lovely. Thanks for covering this!
Whoa this blew me away I always look forward to Wednesdays for your next cover, havent been able to catch the stream yet because work but im sure its super chilled.
Great video. Personally I don't think the music in Skyrim is nearly as good as that in Oblivion, but this cover made my head explode. It would be cool to hear a track from Oblivion, like "Wings of Kynareth".
sounds very nostalgic. I'd honestly play the living shit out of sega genesis mega drive cartridge of Skyrim if it existed. Thank you for this song. Let the Nines protect you in this unstable world.
Didn't expect to love this as much as I did. Great, great stuff as always Ace. On a sidenote, I think you could make an amazing version of Far Horizons.
last week i was like 'wow my new song is original and nobody likes the style it is in' but then you come out with this shit and do it way better. like cmon man. how you do this ...probably with like real equipment and shit

"Unhand me, I am the Jarl's Thane."
I love Whiterun.
The Gods gave you two hands and you use them both for your saxophone, I can respect that.

You should also check out insaneintherain's rendition, it's also pretty calming.

Even over a month later I can't stop listening to this one!
I don't remember the actual song sounding this perfect for Christmas. That just makes your version infinitely better. :)
This is in my top 3 fave songs from the Skyrim OST and this cover makes me so happy. I may or may not be tearing up.

This one was absolutely amazing. I'd like to see more Skyrim!
This is almost as if Hestia had a holiday in place of Christmas.
Sounds like what would happen if Skyrim and Blade Runner collided. I like it!
I've discovered you thanks to SGDQ this year : )
This is really pretty. Can't wait for more winter stuff!
Absolutely stunning.

I just listened to the original to compare and just "wow!" This is amazing and still emotionally powerful with yours sounding (a bit) more upbeat.

Have you made any soundtracks yet? Cos that flippin epic!
Have you seen the warriors from Hammerfell? They have curved swords.
_Curved._

I didn't see this one in my feed today?
Greymane or Battleborn
which one never does the main story and spends all its time climbing mountains, learning magic, and fighting demons?
I take it you like the college of Winterhold then? Mages for the win.
