Watch her when the score is 92-90 and she shoots from 35 feet and manages to jog back and get beat for an easy fastbreak layup to tie the game at 92. She got beat on defense all night long. She isn't played like she was since the break.

Rhyan Howard was the best player on the floor today. Unstoppable. Fever were sloppy in the first half. Caitlin was depressed. Turned it around at the end. Caitlin was clutch at the end from the free throw line. AB was really good today.
Love Caitlin’s positive attitude at all times, it is contagious for the team & everyone who watches and is around her! Happy for Aliyah & the team as a whole, they’re on their way up!
She called some good timeouts and made a challenge, that's progress. The no man's land defensive seems to turn every team 3pt sharpshooters. The more she talks about defense the worse it gets.
Loved ABs confidence when she talked about Tina Charles scoring 20 points in previous games and when she stood up to leave said and she won’t score 20 again.

@@JE-IC from the past games this season, they every of Fever team starters needs to play well to win - and at least one starter needs to play exceptionally well. Otherwise, they would lose a game. The bench isn’t strong enough to compensate/ step in when the starters aren’t playing well. The last Lynx vs. Fever was an example. So the coaches may need to do something about these, in order to win Play Off games.
Caitlin is not happy with this win. She knows her team is not getting ready for the playoffs. Coach has to get a hold of this. The Fever have what, 5 more games to figure it out? To be honest Clark has way more playoff experience than Sides does.
@@coachonpoint Well your right as in I think they were a bit lethargic, that happens deep into the season. Also, you do want to keep it up tempo, but a team can't do that all the time. It's the half-court offense that is really bad from the Fever. Sides doesn't know how to coach a proper half-court offense and thats the bottom line.

Like both of them very much. They are both great players who compliment and elevate one another. AB is such a good soul, she never let's the attention CC gets impact her. She's comfortable in her own skin and knows her worth. Great show.
Sides is always so happy when they succeed playing back to the basket through boston this team would be 5-30 if they played the way sides wants to every game they are winning in spite of her coaching
The turnovers, weak defense, and lack of a bench are the weaknesses of the Fever. Has to be addressed in the off-season. 19 turnovers are unacceptable, and they're getting away with it against the terrible teams. They have to clean that up against a playoff team, or else they'll be out quick.
Caitlin is such a “professional” giving credit to her teammates & opposing players, that’s what makes her special & GREAT! She is changing the WNBA without complaining, the whiners & thugs are getting exposed and kicked to the curb where they belong!!!!
Boston, Clark and Mitchell are dominant players. Add Hull and Fagbenle, who provide great defense and offensive options, and let them play up tempo and they can beat anyone. Play slow, half court sets, and they'll lose.
I also know both Sides and CC avoided answering what was going on towards half between her and CC but hopefully they work it out cause it wasn’t the first time.
@@coachonpoint no idea but CC and Sides had an argument towards the end of 1st quarter but CC had 6 points, 4 boards, 4 assists and 1 TO and in 2nd quarter the team basically Iced out Caitlin she wasn’t passed to, was ignored by almost everyone but Lexie, she took no shots, no boards and no assist but had 5 turnovers. 1 of her foot on her, 1 got picked from behind great play by Canada, one bogus backcourt violation call that wasn’t, then 2 on passes that teammates couldn’t handle. 5 TOs not good but the circumstances is no reason to take ball out of her hands. It actually makes it worse with her. Lastly before half Sides called a timeout and CC was visibly upset, at herself or Sides not sure but nearly in tears. Then at half she basically ran off the court I think before clock expired and ran straight into the trainers room, instead of going to the locker room with everyone else.

I love how both of them actually talk about the game and not just sit there with arms crossed giving sassy answers. Mitchell feels like she doesn't wanna be here for these but she gives great answers. Everyone on this team is likeable and you can tell the players actually care about winning and playing basketball over the actual fame.
Coaching is the missing link that can move you from good to great. Strategies and plan B in crunch time situations is a necessity from a coach which is not present. The best of players cannot see all angles or just rely on court instinct like Clark has been doing, and delegated more to doing so which helped the team go up another notch. IT WILL TAKE GREAT COACHING AND PLAYERS CONFIDENCE IN THE COACH FOR CHAMPIONSHIP LEVEL PLAY TO BE EXECUTED. We can say “yea they have improved” but a coaching instinct like some of the greats have can propel this team to another level. We will never know “what could have been” because Dunn and owner are not willing to even consider a change of the guard. As a result we have a young talented team that can only go so far because there is not any more skill in the coaching arsenal.
Can’t stand when press asks Sides “do you know why CC stormed off the court after the first half?” Like how is she supposed to answer that. She was clearly upset like hello. Trying to get sides to throw her under the bus. Just annoying.
CC, I feel you! This isn't the time to motivate, but the time has come to elevate. It's high time to reduce the TOs, to beef up the defense and grab rebounds as if your life depends on it. If the plays aren't effective, create new ones. If the opposing teams lockdown or lockout your designated shooter, then return the favor. There have been too many uncontested shots and no one available for rebounds. Coach, if whatever you are stating/expressing/addressing/practicing and reviewing does not translate/manifest on the floor, then it should be re-assessed. The bottom line is, if practice does not equal success on the floor, why even bother to keep score😞?

The Fever turned the ball over 19 times against a terrible team and still won the game. They turned it over 14 times against one of the best teams, the Lynx, and lost. The Fever won't beat anybody in the playoffs unless they can get this turnover problem under control.

Boston is so much better than AR.....She has a great feel for the basket and a sweet controled release......not just thrown bricks hoping they go in. Hull is scrappy on defense....
She’s also a really good ball handler for a big. She does not look like a typical 6’5” player when she gets stuck with the ball.
We have to find a way to rest CC and Kelsey without losing leads. 45 minutes for CC??? Way too many. Dantas and Katie Lou got to start scoring and rebounding. Wallace should be able to give guards a few minutes rest. smh Smith needs to bang and crash offensive boards more.
Dantas would score if they play her. She only played 4min. I’d play her 20min a night

The Fever turned the ball over 19 times against a terrible team and still won the game. They turned it over 14 times against one of the best teams, the Lynx, and lost. The Fever won't beat anybody in the playoffs unless they can get this turnover problem under control.
