Barn Owl in the Wind

Unlike Barred Owls, Barn Owls usually perch standing at their full height, which gives them a certain slender elegance. Indeed, sometimes I'm shocked when a supposedly chunky Barred Owl stands up straight and apparently sheds its weight in the blink of an eye.
