"So you won't be spotted by any Argentinians while you're out playing Action Man" lost it at that 😂
Did you ever find it again?
Nah, gone for good
The damn Argentines.
bte this was a refference to the falklands war

This is most definitely the best channel on youtube. Your sense of humor and infinite knowledge are the perfect mix! The visuals are so relaxing and calming, I have literally fallen asleep while listening to your description of a lethal fungus. You are the best!
"I have literally fallen asleep while listening to your description of a lethal fungus."

@@DrTiggy666 just found this channel and see he hasn’t posted in a long time.
To be honest This is the best Knife review I've ever seen. Fantastic editing and script 10/10
I agree
I literally watch this video daily
me too
I keep watching it, but dreaming about the i'll ever know it. Here in Italy it costs 150 euros+ lol
perrots97 it's on knifecenter.com for $99 & their shipping is reasonable I think considering its U.S.
Ive seen it 10 times in 1 month
Guys its 80 USD right now! I think im gonna finally move on from watching this video to buying one and going outside
KaBar and Becker owe you royalties for this video. After watching it so many times I finally bought one.
I bought one and a year later it was stolen. Buying a new one soon.
You have some serious gear loyalty man. Getting your blade fixed like that rather than buying a new one.
You should give it a name.
Shroomreaper!
mobydick
It's Helga I'm pretty sure lol
The name should be Squeeboo mine is spunky I got that same knife. GG
2nd Penis
Wow! A knife guy with common sense. Most vids like this, after the idiots have grossly abused their knives and used them for 3 dollar wood splitters and augurs, they blame the knife for acting like a knife. You didn't! Thumbs up! Nice custom job, too. Almost makes me want a BK7.
This just makes me want a knife itself XD
@@jasonyearlaw 3 years later. You finally got a knife mate? I hope so at least.
@@jasonyearlaw 5 years later. Did you get your knife?
@@jasonyearlaw ANSWER THE QUESTION.
@@chickengod9885 5 years later I now have my own job and I own 20 knives ranging from spiderco, civici, bench made, and some Balisongs! Sure have become a knife guy now.
'Knife Review'
First line: "A scuffed up, disgusting blade" lol
OMG, I'm so glad I came across this review. Hands down THE BEST knife review...EVER! Bravo good sir, bravo!
what if alfie traveled to a remote tropical island and survived for a couple weeks and ducumented it all. words an not describe how awesome that would be
Awesome? haha, not for me!
Have you seen 300 days alone? Its great i would reccomend it
@@AlfieAesthetics Alfie, are you planning a new video? I love your content so much. You're by far my favorite youtuber.
@@AlfieAesthetics Where did you get those flat micarta scales from ?
It's really nice to see a bushcraft-esque video without the generic middle-aged man acting like this knife is the difference between life and death. Great video!
"A bit of manscaping out in the wood? Well you can do that... No judgement." LMFAO!
Magnificent. You tipped me over on this one. I wish all knife reviews were like this one: Zero nonsense, unapologetic, and funny as hell. Well done!
I seriously get excited whenever I see that you have a new video out, Alfie. Respect, brah.
My BK7 almost removed my pointer finger has I was batoning in my early learning days of hackin and slashin and playing woodsman out in the forest. I learned swiftly why folks use a "sissy stick" and why you never start the batoning process with a thwack while holding the wood with your other hand. Learned a valuable lesson that day. Love my bk7, its a life long favorite of mine and an excellent if not perfect field knife for larger tasks.
yo bud
glad to see it get all fixed up
andy loved doing it he tells me
always good to push tools to the limit anyway
I'm late, but I really enjoyed the simplicity of how this video gets to the point and still informs the viewer of everything they need to know. Well done sir.
I must say, the BK7 I purchased, after your review, not only improved my feelings of being a premeval man, but it really does what you have pointed out. I'm using it now for two-three years and it does what is has to do: cutting trees, cutting onions, preparing spaghetti, cutting meat, cutting hornets, cutting rope, cutting branches, picking up tea jugs from the fire, set fire with fire steel, (not) impress my wife, impress my survival teacher, creating feathersticks, impress my neighbour, making christmas trees, cleaning toenails....probably I forgot a lot (like making love to me....ay...). I bought a BK2 ('the Beast") for my son. And he got an extra feature: cutting his fingers during cleaning the blade! Wow, these BK's have kind of the soul of MacGyver in them, for a very nice price, all from NY!
(I have added a firesteel, a small grindstone and a small hand bellow in the front pouch)
Thanx Alfie! I really appreciate this review! Cheers!
You sold me on this knife. Glad I got it. Very nice and useful.
I have to say, This is one of the best knives that i have ever used! I do love this knife!
This is actually one of the best and most honest reviews of the BK-7 on RUclips. You outdid yourself Alfie!
I have the BK 2. A bit shorter but just as effective. Custom fits perfectly in a custom leather sheets that fits horizontal at the small of the back or could attach to the strap of your backpack. It comes with a pouch attached for a knife wet stone, but I replaced it with wetfire and tender. Also a loop pouch for a ferrocium rod and small saw blade used as a striker/saw. Very happy with it.
I now won 3 becker knives because of you. I started with a bk7, then got a bk9, and just got a bk16. Beckers rock
"Metric master race".

Thank you for this review, it was first class and lacked endorsement. Damascus steel [1095] was a good choice for you as the D2 is a harder material that is prone to chipping under vigorous usage.
Have had my BK-7 since 2017 - besides resharpening it a few times it's holding up pretty darn well. Seen much abuse over the years but I always try to keep it in good condition. Have it with me on every hunting / fishing / camping trip. 9.5/10 , only small grievance for me is the standart handle - but that's nothing a bit of paracord can't fix. Either that or just get a custom handle.
You can put a lanyard through the two holes in the sheath behind the handle to secure it from falling out
best demonstration video of the BK7. i really need to get one
Paint stripping the knife is a good idea in the UK, wood handles are a good idea too. Need it to look as least tacticool and threatening as possible.
Would be pretty tough to pull off, its huge
From one knife reviewer to another I have to say, this is fantastic! This is the new standard to which I hold my reviews.
I just ordered my BK7 yesterday! Can't wait to open the box!
Best Kabar BK-7 knife review ever, still watching it today.
Great knife, probably one of the best out there.
Damn man, It's like I haven't seen an Alfie video since last year! Oh.. Wait. Good to have you back bro, good to have you back...
That is a good honest opinion of that knife and I have the BK2 and would never do what you said you did with that knife.
This might be the most entertaining knife review I've ever watched (and I've watched a TON).
Alfie.
Simply the best knife review i have seen. !
Love your honesty and delivery you crack me up, but it's clear you are a Man of learning.
Shame about the one press stud on the sheath, this knife has always reminded me of a modern version of an MOD knife.
Have you thought about mod-ing then sheath for a better knife retention ?
I have an idea how to do this if you are interested ?
Regards mack
AlfieAesthetics I believe that is a clip point, and definitely not a Scandi grind.
bennn05 I'd call it a sabre grind.
metric system master race :D you crack me up Alfie. Good to see its holding up well with the bevels being much leaner. Do you want a Kydex sheath making for it mate??
Hands down the funniest and the best review video I've seen yet. LOL.
Got it years back when the review came out while I searched for a knife. I can approve all you say, especially the action man playing!
All jokes aside, the handel is not so comfortable, but fixable, shied is not perfect, but I love the added pocket! Every thing else is good.
Yea just started watching these videos I have an exam tomorrow that I haven't studied for but this guys commentary is too funny.
Buying this knife tomorrow off amazon. It’s gonna be so much better than my other knife. And I don’t have to carry and axe with my knife any more. :)
Andy from doberman knives does some first class work mate , he did me some kydex sheaths for a coldsteel bushman and my Mora and went over the blades aswell , very decent bloke , good video mate ,
I got the little brother to this, the BK2
It's a beautiful knife.
Always take care of your blades!
Ka-bar makes some of the best knives I'v seen on the market, I myself own the bk-7 and the 9, although the 9 is a little bit much for what I do, on the other hand the b-7 is a 10,000 star/thumbs up out of the box. Hesitation sucks, just buy it!
I have never been so genuinely excited to see a video pop up in my subscription feel. ALFIE 4 LIFE!!
That's beyond amazing 🔪 knife!
I noticed your name is engraved upon it.
I like knives to be able to pry. A strong tip can pry and split which is why I like the ESEE 6 and Gerber Strongarm cause they have their tips almost as thick as the spine
Like the fallos blade Alfie but it costs 160 euros in my neck of the woods so damn!! Great review. Good to see a review from someone who does not have the time or energy to polish their blades and shiny tools every time they get back from the bush. Bang on!
Nice review. Picked one up recently after watching this made my mind up.. If you glue a strip (a bit shorter than the inside of the sheath) of very slightly bent towards the knife 2mm thick aluminium into the sheath with something like araldite, it works as a spring towards the knife, closes the gap enough to grab the blade when it's in there, a bit like the way an M9 sheath grabs and prevents the knife falling out, even if you hold the sheath upside down and shake it. Add a little chamfer to the alu strip top side before you glue it in to prevent the knife ever colliding with the edge when you put it in there.
Another better way (as Alfie has outlined himself) is to weave paracord in and through the holes in the plastic. Creates a mux snugger fit than some half-asses glued on spring.
This is such a good looking knife. So aesthetically pleasing.
Since being a U.S. Marine, I have been a loyal Ka-Bar man, and prefer the size, weight, heft, cutting edge, and leather sheath retention of my Ka-Bar Big Brother. It's a real man's survival knife.
I very much enjoyed your review.
I love my BK7,, but I'm to busy and way to lazy to remove the coating. So I carry a scrape for my ferro rod.
Thanks for the video
Saw the review, bought the knife on Amazon for 150 euros. It is excellent knife for outdoor.
The most obvious takeaway from this video---notwithstanding the excellent content on the subject matter---is that you should setup classes to teach others how to do good, concise, instructional, informative, entertaining videos. Too many doing this seem to consider themselves the Steven Spielberg of RUclips: They open with lengthy musical reeditions of some awful score, with background scenes that are meaningless, etc., and then they cram 5 minutes of useful information into 20-30 boring minutes. I am beyond impressed!!
Thanks a lot man I'm gonna buy this knife. I've Been thinking about it for months and was already planning on doing it. But this just made me NEEED it. Thanks bro
Nice review, your point about the tip snapping rather than the whole blade does say lot about the quietly and why you repair rather than replace. One for my wish list ;]
Hi Alfie. This is the most entertaining and informative knife review I have ever seen. Laughed my head off at the funny stuff. Love your style. Keep it up mate.
Amazing review. I just ordered my own ka-bar and will be using it shortly. Thanks Alfie!
One of my favorites, the knife that is ;)-
Realistic and excellent. Also very informative and useful. Thankyou.
Back again. Anytime I want or need to feel about my disgusting (but formerly spectacular) arrangement of metal, I rewatch this video.
Thank you Alfie for sharing your amazing talent and gifts to the world!
It gives me great pleasure to watch your videos 😊☮️
great looking knife ... my issued MoD survival knife came with a crap sheath,
worse than the one shown here, i replaced it but in the interim just used some shock cord to keep the knife secure,
Just got mine for Christmas, thanks for the video Alfie love your vids man. -Your bro from America.
I’m glad you used freedom units first before you converted to heathen units. Good show.
I like you. You speak plain and you make me laugh. Subbed.
Man, best knife review i have see to date.
" Chinese Mystery Metal " Love it and will use it. For a survival knife I'm looking at this and the BK 2 which has stellar reviews so far.
youre very clever. I think you should be a writer. Very entertaining. Keep up the great work man.
Best description of a knife ever ! Funny as hahah
Brilliant review! Haven't heard anyone say they were "vexed" for a quite a while, so bonus points...lol
That's á truly IMPRESSIVE knife, im tell cause i got the same BK 7, great video bro🙄👍👍👍
you know what alfie, i love your vids and i recommend your channel all the time, your unorthodox delivery and total fungi skills etc are very entertaining, just thought id let ya know how much fun your vids are, cheers, dave
Thanks man
@@AlfieAesthetics come back
One of the best Knife reviews I have seen on You Tube. I MUST sub based on this video alone. Thanks
Sabre grind*
Also I broke my bk7 in the exact same way. The brakes look identical. Not sure if strange coincidence or something to do with the steel. Not faulting the steel for being used as a pry bar when sharpened to a tip.
Alfie, love watching your videos! They are so knowledgable and hilarious! Xoxo
Metric system master race!!! Haha, too good. Just stumbled across your videos today and am very pleased I did. Greetings from Canada.
I reckon I come back every 12months to watch these vid's
you hit all the marks bub on this review, hated the sheath I made a kydex. but I absolutely hated the edge on it when I received mine
i didnt even watch the video yet but ive been fiending for a new video from you!!! thanks man. also im buying this knife because of you. ill name it alfie. good shit man. long time fan from hawaii. shoots brah
Best review--hands down (full stop).
Ever consider a 12 in. 'Wonder Bar' Pry Bar or other miniature prying device to collar your impatience? Two thumbs up, love the videos, humor, and attention to detail as always.

I don't even give a shit about outdoors or the equipment. I'm just here cuz I just enjoy the commentary.
mate your videos are all ways amazing keep it up big man its better then bear grylls any day
This is a fun channel and useful. Thanks for the work.
Sharpened pry bars i love my buck 119
If Rambo is using one in Last Blood, I'm sold! 🤔🤣
This must be the best knife review I've seen so far
I agree. Love the hard facts and no rambling.
Good to see a video with a knife that had real abuse instead of a review done two days after someone gets the knife :D
That was some good restoration on that BK-7. R8 8/8 m8!
Funny and honest review ! They did a great job fixin it up !
I have sharpen many types of steel, and this one is extremely the sharpest off all... I guarantee.
halfway through the video.
fuck dude, alright already.
you've sold it to me.
just take my damn money.

Well Done. Best knife vid I've seen since I don't know when. Subscribed.

I have one. I really like it.
Ordered mine today! Thanks for convincing me
Ryan Martinez just wondering how much you manage to find one for? i just ordered one from america and feel like I've been ripped off with import charges i didn't know about :/
I found it for 90 u.s on amazon. Hope that helps man
Say Heah, Yeah, I still teamed my BK-7 with my BK-17. But if I know I'll be processing alot of wood, I just add my ZT Swabbie, Which is a good looking matching set. But most of the time, I go with the BK-7/BK-17 and my Estwing Double Bit Hatchet, Yeah, It's a good one M8.,,.
