Awe, thank you for being such a good fur-momma! ❤️🐾 I have some gorgeous pieces of Bennington Pottery my Dad who lives in Upstate, NY sent me. Since then I’ve become a huge fan and have ordered some on my own. Now I need to see if there’s any actually out there in the wild! Great find!
I love watching your video's. You are so calm and relaxing for me then you add your pets and its heaven. I need calm in my life and your video's are my go to.Thanks!
I loved your selections of plates today. And especially that red serving plate. Very festive especially for Christmas or Valentine's Day. Thanks for being a dog 🐕 parent. And for caring for them. You are so sweet and appreciative. Were you a school teacher before? Your haircut looks great too. I need one but I'm having neck problems and need surgery asap. I'm scared though. One day at a time I guess. Have a great day and week. 🌞🙂
Thank you! The red plate already sold - it was a very pretty piece. I do my best to take good care of my pups - they're both getting up there in age and need a little bit of extra TLC. I was never a teacher, but I worked as a school psychologist, an elementary school principal and a director of student services. Almost 25 years in education, but now I adore my second career hunting for vintage treasures! I hope your surgery goes very smoothly and that you're feeling like yourself again in no time! Sending positive vibes your way. 💕💕
Earlier this morning I watched a video by a RUclipsr ( from Texas) who spent a week on vacation in Vermont. She had planned to visit the Bennington Pottery store but it’s temporarily closed, but she did show some of their pottery in another shop. It’s so funny to me to see you finding that Bennington piece in your video. Maybe it’s a sign I should start collecting some. 😊
That's such a funny coincidence! Bennington pottery is stalking you! I'm going to have to visit that store someday - Vermont isn't too terribly far from me.
@WorthingtonHome I'm not far either. I've been to Bennington many times and have shopped at Camelot Village. Lots of rustic antiques and junk too. It was fun.
I love the set of Noritake blue China and I am not really much of a blue fan. The only blue dishes I own are Homer Laughlin Blue Willow and it belonged to my great aunt is the only reason I still have it. I know everybody loves the blue and white. Great video.
Thank you! I love that you have your great aunt's china! I definitely think blue and white is a very elegant and classic look. The Noritake set I picked up was giving me definite mid century modern vibes, but in a subtle way....
Great finds! I just bought the ruby plate. It is going on my glass tip coffee table with one 36:29 of my Waterford vases on top of it filled with red flowers for my Christmas decor. Thank you very much. I have been looking for something just like it. I have the creamer and sugar like the cup you bought. They have pink trim and I match them with the Belleek teapot with pink coral design. I also have a complete Belleek tea set of the Harp pattern with shamrocks. I love Belleek too and have many other pieces. I love tiered servers. I have five three tiered and three two tiered. Four of them were from Replacements. They can make a tiered server in almost any pattern they have in stock. One I bought on eBay which was shipped safely from England. They seem to sell well especially since tea time has become fashionable again. I loved seeing the pets, but I missed Iris.
Fun watching this Sunday morning. There are Blue Ridge collector groups on UTube. And a couple of books out about patterns. The one group is very group is good about identifying pattern names if you send a pic. I collected fruit inspired plates in the 1990’s to decorate my fruit theme kitchen with touches of red. You are right they do not sell for very high prices and in my area they have very little sale ability. But they are painted by hand and pretty. I think in the 1940/50’s they were popular as every day dishes for the new brides. I have found piece by piece a pattern called crab apple to make a set. They were made in Erwin Tenn.
Okay, so I'm jealous about almost every single word you said (especially the Belleek teapot - oh my gosh!) It sounds like you have gorgeous items in your home! I feel honored that my ruby plate made the grade! I hope you love it! No worries about Miss Iris - she'll be making her appearances again very soon! She's sleeping next to me as I type this!
@@judithsharrar8706 I bet your set is lovely! I don't tend to find much Blue Ridge around here, but when I do, I pick it up. The hand-painting is so beautiful!
Thank you so much! The best part of the Belleek pieces is that they're now behind glass (in my corner cabinet) so Indy and his naughty sister can't break them! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'm so glad you found my channel! Welcome! I love Belleek. I saw a beautiful piece today at an antique store, but it was too expensive ($50). I like to find bargains out in the thrifting world when I can manage it.
Wonderful finds. I see so many RUclips thrifters that pass on china- it makes happy that you buy it! ❤ another great video. PS - that small cabinet is wonderful.
Thank you so much! I'm glad that they pass on the china so there's more for me to scoop up! (I think people dislike shipping it, which is definitely not so much fun).
@@JudyCoggins I'm so lucky because Eric is an amazing shipper and he kindly does mine. I'm beyond grateful for all of his help! (In return, I make him dinner sometimes and occasionally it's even edible - sort of). 😂😂
The unmarked teacups with the delicate blue flowers and silver rim looks like they’re Taylor Smith Taylor’s Versatile-line in “Bachelor Button” vintage pattern from the MCM-era.😊
Welcome to the channel! I'll have to ask Eric if he knows the name of the wallpaper pattern. He put it up about 20 years ago, long before we met. I'm so glad you like it! If I can find out, I'll get back to you (but I'm not confident that he'll have an answer).
I've always loved old items of all sorts, but I became fascinated with china, glass and pottery in my early 20s, and it's only grown. I sell books pretty regularly. I sometimes pick up wooden pieces (bowls, especially), metal (like brass boxes or candlesticks), vintage bags and occasionally clothing. I've sold some jewelry, as well. I'm open to picking up anything that speaks to me and has some age to it. If there's anything you're looking for in particular, please let me know and I'll keep an eye out for it.
@@deborahschoonover4294 thank you for sharing some of the things you'd like to see! I'll keep my eye out for some of those things. I have sold some art prints in the past and the occasional basket, especially if I can find Longaberger.

It's bound to happen sometime - I'm always in Goodwill! I'll keep my fingers crossed that we'll be there at the same time someday soon!
Love Indy’s selling techniques on the casserole!!! drinking my coffee watching you on Sunday morning it’s perfect
If only I could train Indy to actually MAKE a casserole. Think of the time it would save me! 😂😂

Love when you walk in to 3 bins full to scavenge in …….lots of pretty china today!
