Their new drummer Sam Becht was in another popular alternative band before this named Jank (really good band but reallly messy breakup look it up) and he improvised a lot in their live shows, so I think that’s how he is as a drummer. You can tell he knows the ins and outs of every song he plays cause of how smooth the improv fits in with the song. Ik I just nerded out on a 5 year old comment but whatever
