I'm so glad you are going to explore this album. Beggers Banquet and Music From Big Pink are the two albums I'd take with me if I was stranded on a desert isle. Both are magnificent pieces of music.
After their brief misstep with 67’s “Their Satanic Majesties Request”, a few good songs but mostly stoned silliness, The Stones came back with a vengeance in 68: first with the single “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, then followed with “Beggars Banquet”. From there they didn’t let up on the throttle until after “Exile on Main St.” in ‘72!
thanks for the suggestion. I tried that with some Dylan records, but I had some technical issues with recording (sync issues, low framerate etc) so I ditch it. Maybe I'll explore alternatives

Nicky Hopkins was a fantastic keyboards player for a long time and played with many great bands and people
Classic Stones song

Well done. Epic LP!!
5 / 5 Chef d' œuvre !
The live version of this song from the live album "Get Yer Ya Yas Out" is the best imo. Hope you do that album at some point, it's all great.
Awesome. The Stones turning point album away from the British Invasion sound and switch to an Americana sound. Nice surprise.
for a planetarium laser show i had to program an effect to every _woo-woo_ in the song… thousands of lines of basic for that one trick.😊
Finally something good
thanks for being patient 😅✌️
as much as I love Beggar's Banquet, I am not a huge fan of the studio version of this song. the Live version on Get Yer Ya Ya's Out is WAY better.
Yes. I just said the same thing. No comparison. That whole album is great
PUT some effing lyrics on the screen LIKE EVERY OTHER REVIEW ON YT DID. So sick of incompetent YT creators.
