Really inspiring to learn that celebraties turn their lives around. There are even a lot more non-celebraty people who have struggled and over came adversities and turned their lives around.
I think what they are attempting to show are celebrities conquering addictions, hence why alcohol and cocaine, or just drugs are mentioned for pretty much every single one of them. Depression is an entire other monster, not related to the over consumption of potentially destructive substances. Depression is more of a mental disorder, and yes, to a certain degree, addictions or addictive behaviours can also be considered mental disorders. Depression is sometimes a life long battle, and isn't something you could attempt to resolve by going cold turkey. turning your life around after depression isn't really a thing, as without any real change in your day to day routine, it can creep back into your life.... Even if something like depression ended up taking his life, it shouldn't diminish what he accomplished and what has been highlighted in this video. I'm glad your suffering has come to end, but I'm sad at how much darker the world is without you in it. Rest in Peace Mr. Williams.

Stephen Mountenay-Henhawke anyone can do anything. you absolutely Can beat Depression and many people have, he just gave up. anyone who's life ends with suicide was a sign of failure. it's not impossible to beat depression or anything for that matter, there's evidence with people who have done it many times before. but people who give up and take the easy way out. did just that, they Gave Up, they didn't believe their life was worth keeping, so they through it away. and it's a shame because all life is precious and should not to be thrown away just because of feelings. suicide is always premeditated. Robin Cut his wrist than when it wasn't working, he actually summoned the strength to drag his self to a door and hang his self with a belt of all things, he was totally in his right mind, he knew exactly what he was doing, and he could've stopped at anytime. but simply said he didn't believe he was worth it, and that's a damn shame, because the Man was loved by millions and millions of people, he just couldn't love himself.

I think what they are attempting to show are celebrities conquering addictions, hence why alcohol and cocaine, or just drugs are mentioned for pretty much every single one of them. Depression is an entire other monster, not related to the over consumption of potentially destructive substances. Depression is more of a mental disorder, and yes, to a certain degree, addictions or addictive behaviours can also be considered mental disorders. Depression is sometimes a life long battle, and isn't something you could attempt to resolve by going cold turkey. turning your life around after depression isn't really a thing, as without any real change in your day to day routine, it can creep back into your life....
Even if something like depression ended up taking his life, it shouldn't diminish what he accomplished and what has been highlighted in this video.
I'm glad your suffering has come to end, but I'm sad at how much darker the world is without you in it. Rest in Peace Mr. Williams.
