I have friends opting to homeschool their kids, and I've recommended your channel as a resource for the maths part of the curriculum. You have great videos for parents who need to brush up on maths. Thanks!
πR² for 1 circle (π3²) So 2πr² for the 2 circles (the top one and the one at the base) Then just unroll the cylinder so u have a plane surface looking like a rectangle of 10(it's H) * 2πR :)
Nice. That's pretty good. What about volume of a cylinder? Edit: wait shouldn't it be 2(πr²)•h Edit: ChatGPT confirmed that that was indeed the formula
Learned how to do this in grade 6 or 7. It's so sad that the mental wasteland has expanded so far that there a almost 2000 views of this RUclips video.

Thanks and I'm glad it helped.
I agree with Phoebe404.

Delighted with this refresher, Thank you Josh.
hello, you videos have helped me so much, any chance you could do a video on vectors? thanks.
Thank you 😃
Usually your explanation is easy to understand but I’m still lost on this one. Lol
Thank you life saver

Well said.
My internal dialogue worked it out as pie times diameter which I automatically calculated as 6.
Potaytoe...potahtoe
You could use:
S.A= 2(пd²)/4 + пdh
Where, d=diameter, п=pie and h=height

(Pi x 6m x 10m) + (2 x Pi x r Sq )=
I thought this was going to be one of those tricks where you can do it on your fingers in 3 seconds...
One is coming up!
This is too easy sir

What do you mean? This channel mostly looks at very basic mathematics and we love it. If you want complicated stuff look for other channels.
