We're going on this tour in September, so I was so excited to find such a great video showing the right time of year. Just a few more months, I can't wait!
We just got back from Kauai on March 25th , we were there for 10 days. We did the same Napali Cost boat 🛥 tour that you just did. Holoholo Charters is an incredible company, it was AMAZING. Highly recommended. We reached out to you on RUclips about where to stay and which tour were the best, and we Booked this trip because you recommended it and also recommended we stay at Koloa Landing resort, and we couldn’t be any happier. Thank you so so much for pointing us in the right direction, my Girlfriend and I ( whom is now my fiancé, I propose to her while we were on Kauai 😁) had an incredible time , your videos are inspiring and so very helpful, keep up the awesome job , I really appreciate it!!!! 🙌🏻🙏👍🏻Mahalo 🤙🏻😁🌺
Aloha Luis, thanks so much for sharing your experience. Congrats on the engagement! Let me know if you need tips on the honeymoon to Maui! 😂 I'm glad the Koloa Landing worked out for you two and isn't Holo Holo Charters fun? A great snorkeling tour. Thanks for watching and enjoy the wedding planning!
What a beautiful tour 😍 ! Napali coast is so beautiful. Unfortunately I get seasick very badly when i get on a boat so not possible for me 😭. But thanjs for sharing! 👏
Beautiful! Thank you for your very informative videos! I agree with you that the Napali coast is a must see when in Kauai! Loved loved loved our sunset cruise and doors-off helicopter tours of the Napali coast during our visits to Kauai a few years ago⛵️🚁 🌈🤙❤️
It looks awesome tour! I want to visit Niihau coast! I will definitely join the tour next time when I visit Kauai. I like your video 😃 lots of good information
I got to do the Napali Coast via boat, where we went into the sea caves and did snorkeling, helicopter and a hike that came out on the top of one of the cliffs. Absolutely loved it!
We did this tour 22 years ago. It was awesome, except it was interrupted by having to rescue a boat that lost its rudder. The boat was fishtailing behind us as we towed it. First time I ever got motion sickness.
Wow. Just don't do the whip tour in January lol. Sure, Sunshine Helicopters we survived. Lol. Our fellow passengers were, well a little traumatized. If you like old school Mash style flying, go for it!! The honeymoon couple in front were frozen in fear. The lady next to us barfed the whole time. All in all, it was a great experience!! Lol
I remember Papallion Helicopters. They and other companies used to land at Kalalau and take people in and out. The state caught them not reporting all of their landings so they were all stopped. I used to backpack there and also kayaked the NaPali Coast four times. The state now forbids organized overnight kayaking trips.
Thanks for sharing! Of course Papallion was doing more than just shooting the arch. I'd love to do the Kalalau trail again. Perhaps when Henry can do it with me. Personally, I'm glad they started a permit system as even ten years ago a lot of people were living on the beach with no where for their trash. The state had to helicopter out their trash. Kayaking trips were probably better at pack in/pack out. Zodiacs used to land on the beach all the time too, I think they stopped that.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide There has been permits and various enforcement since the late '70s. There were always hippies who thought they owned Kalalau. They got mad at us for picking the cherry tomatoes.Drug addled Clancy used to own Captain Zodiac and run the boats out of the North Shore. In spite of him it was a well run operation .
I saw that with people living there thinking they were tending to the land and living off the land but trash everywhere as they brought supplies in constantly. I hiked the trail after reading about it in National Geographic. It mentioned the Marine who lived out there and worked daily on fixing the trail. I got to meet him during our hike with a head nod.
Hi there Aloha! Would there be other boat tours you can recommend that allows children under 5 to hop on the Napali coast cruise? We have a 6 and 3 yrs. Planning in going on February.
Question: waikiki trolley on Oahu, Lea Lea trolley...seems to be a lot of trolley companies...which covers the most areas at the best prices for hop on/ hop off transportation????
Is this tour beginner-friendly? I really want to do this tour! Going to Hawaii for the first time in August but have never been snorkeling before (cuz I am from the desert).
We found the snorkel spot to be calm and protected. It was deep. They have crew in the water to help and floaties available. Snorkeling in the ocean is always a big risk though so talk to the crew.
Aloha! Heading to Kauai in 2 days!!! For your snorkeling videos, do you use a filter? or adjust the color in post? Another killer video! Keep em comin!
That's so awesome. We had a blast on our Maui vacation. Saw lots of whales and wildlife. To many firsts for me and my family to list. We are definitely coming back. We were thinking of visiting Moliki island this time. What are your thoughts on this Island?
Glad your Maui trip was great. We recommend Lanai over visiting Molokai. You can only fly to Molokai, one hotel or camping, not a lot to do, and residents prefer to have visitors stay around the main town. We don’t highlight the island at this time.
We do not have videos or articles on Molokai. Read our article on visiting multiple islands in a trip: thehawaiivacationguide.com/how-to-visit-4-hawaiian-islands-in-2-weeks-itinerary-included/
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide thanks I was in Hawaii in marines In 82 for super squad and didn't see much I was to young went to kaui and big Island and ohau then back to Okinawa in 88 I flew with my brother when I visited from to La and stayed at Sheraton and did luau and loved now I'm 61 no kids and if I get money in future I'll take a month off to follow guide I have more time to explore id fly from jfk.
Nice video! Fortunately, not all tours from the south leave out of Port Allen as you state; several boats and companies leave from 10 miles further up the coastline, Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor, saving you 20 miles round trip and about an hour less on the boat.
You can ask the captain but probably not. They don't want people jumping off the boat let alone flying a drone from the boat. The island is a bird sanctuary so flying isn't allowed there too.
Since our vacation to Maui and Kauai this past September, I always watch these videos now keeping an eye out for people in the background who have become sea sick 😅😅 I wasn't expecting so many people to fall ill on our napali tour and it really scarred me for life!
Some of the best dive sites around are just off Lehua. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone how's not been on a small boat in the ocean all day. Only 3 of 11 people on my trip weren't chumming the water.
Years ago we took the raft tour and went though the cave. Absolutely amazing. Spinner dolphins swam next to us and the guide took my underwater camera and filmed them underwater. The way back was super rough and wavy. I had my camera strap in my hand as I hung on to the raft and the camera was slapping against the raft. I was too afraid to let go and put the camera somewhere safe. Camera didn’t make it. Next time I’ll take the catamaran. Lol.
haha, I'm glad you survived. Yes, these tours are not meant for kids or cameras in your hand. The north coast of Kauai gets rough but totally worth it!

We also had a very early morning leaving from princeville. We went with Holo Holo too
Beautiful

Congrats to you and your family for the upcoming baby!

Haven't been back to Kauai since 2017. going there w/ my family, brother-in-law, cousin, and her family this July after my sister's wedding.

Ah, the trip back from Niihau :) Our captain referred to it as the Hawaiian roller coaster.
The guide on the road to Hana in Maui referred to the road as the Hawaiian rollercoaster. 😂
we **Loved** the Holo holo. It was an amazing trip. One of the top three boat trips like these I've ever done. So very fun, memorable, amazing.
Thanks for sharing!!
We were there end of march and had to cancel our raft tour (and helicopter tour) to see the Napali coast due to weather 😔 thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for sharing! The weather can get rough out there, even in March. A good reason to come back for another visit!
how are you?, that's ewll channel-

I can't believe how dry and void of color the Na Pali coast in now! The last time I was there, it was so green....
Why would your sister wear a nasty women shirt? I don’t get it. Why do you want to be nasty? Gross
