It’s amazing how you can create a character and scenery so detailed only with a program and knowing what are your materials. You guys are so talented. Keep going whit that.

I'm still hoping to see this masterpiece as a real mod for Cuphead
as someone who is still at a pretty beginner level with after effects, this was super informative! There's so many effects to pick from it's usually pretty tough to figure what they all do and could be used for so a practical example like this with all the effects that you used in an awesome looking animation is very helpful, thanks for the video!

I've been using adobe flash/animation for nearly a decade (Purely as a hobby) and I didnt know half of the things you've mentioned/shown in the video, hot damn... I've learnt so much, I just hope I'd be able to memorize it all lmao.

Okay but I'm trying to explain to my five year old that we can't play this mashup of two of his favorite games...
Beautiful tutorial, I've seen Cupsouls years ago and loved it. The after effects portion really helped out. I didn't know you could interpert the film and create the loop that way. I've been rendering my animation in adobe animate longer to match whatever length I made. My question is, did you all essentially create an animated sprite sheet? so an "Idle, Walk, Jump, Shoot" and then choose which to use within after effects? or did you export ALL of the character animation into one scene within adobe animate?
I want this person to make a demo and after a month when making the demo you will make it a actual game
Ok now I can't be the only one who thinks that if this was a game it would be ridiculously fun like player 1 is elite knight player 2 is solaire player 3 is seigmeyer and player 4 is tarkus so long story short if someone makes a game like that I am willing to pay top dollar

Wow what great video for animator like me , but that after effects is too crazy for me specially i have zero knowledge of it.
Totally understand! After Effects takes a little time to get used to but I highly recommend using it to for that extra step in your work. It's not very hard to get into once you understand the basics! Try to do a course on it (thought Linkedin Learning/RUclips?) and just hop on our Discord if you have any questions!
