I live in London and every morning the lift (elevator) smells so heavenly citrusy. I always trace the smell but no luck until finally a guy came down but he and I were in a hurry to start a conversation. I finally asked him one day and he said it’s bergamot, just like that. I searched online and found several brands like Tom Ford and Le Labo, which is pricey. I met him again and said it’s Le Labo....will try this soon, never mind the price, it’s worth trying anyway

This scent sounds glorious. I recently was in a coffee shop where I had to ask the woman sitting next to me what she was wearing. She replied "Le Labo" and said nothing more, leaving it a mystery as to what scent she was wearing. Given your notes description, I would love to get a sample of this and confirm if it indeed was this smell.
I first had a decant of B22. I loved how the citrus notes of the beginning were followed by a vanilla drydown. Then I got my own bottle at Le Labo in Berlin - and the blend is somewhat different. Here the citrus opening is followed by a somewhat dirty smelling drydown, probably made up of the vetiver and cedar - quite woody and dusty. No vanilla here. That's nice too, but I miss the softer combination I had in the decant (I don't know where the person I got it from had bought it). I'm not in the competition for a sample - Germany here. :-)
Bergamot is one of my favorite notes, especially the more juicy ones. I recently tried and enjoyed Commodity Bergamont, although it isn't a super juicy one. With that said, my favorite juicy bergamot had to be Bergamot Soleil. Atelier just does photoreal citrus so well! I would so LOVE to try this one out since I love Bergamot and can't get le labo here locally, plus I have been wanting to try this and Nio for quite some time. Thanks man! This is something I am 100% interested in! Bergamonte is one of my favorite notes!! It's hot in Texas this note helps keep things fresh. I have been looking for this fragrance to try for a while!

I was introduced to Bergamote 22 by the one and only Soul Cycle in the form of body wash and shampoo. I haven’t smelled the EDP but if it’s anything like the body wash…I absolutely need it

Ooh! I love Rose 31!!! That's the only fragrance I have ever tried from Le Labo. I'd LOVE to try Bergamote 22. It sounds so fresh and uplifting. I enjoy bergamot and lemon blossom notes. I think bergamot is in Theirry Mugler's cologne. That's another of my favorites.I live in NY.
Usually you have to wait 1 month for the oils to settle before using, like fermenting alcohol. So if you spray Le Labo right after they make it, it is not going to smell like the final version. I'll stick to designer if I spend my money.. you don't have to wait cause the formula has already settled.
My favorite Xerjojj Nio. Great review Sebastian. I've been trying to buy But honest Its hard the prices are to high A$ 389 for 100ML. Its big dent on pocket.But i like the craft man ship, Personalized and detailed.

Hmmm, Bergamot 22 is an odd duck for me. My first reaction when trying it out was, "Is that it?". I wasn't impressed, and thought it smelled "old mannish." But then I tried it in an unusually hot, sweltering summer day and was shocked: It came to life! The opening was such a masterful, slightly dry bergamot/grapefruit accord, and then came in the petigrain, vetiver and woods. I could then understand the adoration. Only wish the citrusy opening lasted longer. Sigh.... Bergamot 22 works on me only on the hottest days, a limited window of opportunity here in Seattle. But it is great! Would love to win another decant. Here in Seattle. Mahalo!
I like bergamote Soleil the best since that's the best I can put my nose on. Since I live in Arkansas it's hard to sample higher end niche and being a college student it takes a while to save up and then sample all these niche!
I have heard so much about Le Labo, and recently Bergamote 22 the closes citrus fragrance I have is wanted by Azzaro. Living here in North Carolina it’s hard to smell the more high end fragrances and would love to win to start my journey to Le Labo.

I smelled Le labo Bergamote 22 when I went to only few boutiques they have in S Korea and it smelled amazing. The prices over there are even more jacked up compared to U.S so i figured I shouldnt pull the trigger yet and wait for the right prices to appear on one of the fragrance groups. The drydown of this scent is bascially Amrmanis Code. The opening has that bergamont lemon tree leaf vibes. Its basically armani code + lemon tree leaves

My favorite Bergamot fragrance is Bergamotto Merino by Gianfranco Fere. I'd like to win a sample of this fragrance as bergamot is my favorite note in a fragrance and based on all review I've seen this seems to be the best bergamot on the market. State is Connecticut
In the end they are both bergamot but the Le Labo is quite tart and sweet at the same time and very floral green aromatic. I haven't compared the two in a while but they are quite different. I enjoy the smell of the Le Labo way more than the ADP but they are both berggamot fragrances in unique ways. I'll test and compare!

The only problem that prevents me from buying it is that it really doesn't last at all. I hear also Varvatos pure artisan smells also the same; or is it more on the neroli side like ADP Essenza or tom ford's neroli ?

Great review as always. My only issue when Bergamote 22 is that projection is very low. My wife barely smells anything on me when I use it. The scent however is beautiful.

idk if my 1.5ml bottle was a bad one, but man this freakin thing stinks man, I can't stand the smell of this. I'm only just getting into these real artisan brands, so maybe my nose isn't up to par yet, but dude I'm getting physical reactions to this one lmao. This and labdanum I would avoid compared to most of their heavy hitters
There's no way Bergamote 22 would stink. It's a big, bright, fresh, juicy citrus fragrance, No way it stinks so something is off about your sample sadly. :(

Ahh this is such a lovely bergamot fragrance. I love Nio and this actually feels like a juicier version of it with less 'edges'

So Bergamot is my favorite note and I love bergamot 22 by Le Labo, I was able to smell a sample that a friend had. It's a little pricey. I love to smell it for myself I don't even care about projection. I did love to win a sample. I live in Atlanta, George.

I know you hate clones but I have a decent clone of this and it's one of my favorite warm weather scents. It's so good. The dry down is also great. Why is le labo not a slight bit cheaper?

I don't like Venetian Bergamote unfortunately. I thought it smelled cheap and synthetic to me and not really like bergamot! But I know it has fans! :)

They are both Bergamote but I prefer this just a tad bit more than Nio. Smells are s bit different as well! 😄

The drydown of this scent is bascially Amrmanis Code. The opening has that bergamont lemon tree leaf vibes.
Its basically armani code + lemon tree leaves
An absolutely gorgeous fruity fresh fragrance but unfortunately performance is very poor, i get about 2 hours. What a shame its such a gorgeous fragrance

My favorite Bergamot fragrance is Bergamotto Merino by Gianfranco Fere. I'd like to win a sample of this fragrance as bergamot is my favorite note in a fragrance and based on all review I've seen this seems to be the best bergamot on the market. State is Connecticut

In the end they are both bergamot but the Le Labo is quite tart and sweet at the same time and very floral green aromatic. I haven't compared the two in a while but they are quite different. I enjoy the smell of the Le Labo way more than the ADP but they are both berggamot fragrances in unique ways. I'll test and compare!
@@ThePerfumeGuy thanks man that's very nice of you I am eager to watch your comparison. I don't know Bergamoto 22 but the Acqua di parma one smells so good and sweet. It's not tart. The only problem that prevents me from buying it is that it really doesn't last at all.
I hear also Varvatos pure artisan smells also the same; or is it more on the neroli side like ADP Essenza or tom ford's neroli ?
Citruses don't last too long! You are stuck with that sadly! I haven't compared those other fragrances sadly. The TF Neroli does not last!

Great review as always. My only issue when Bergamote 22 is that projection is very low. My wife barely smells anything on me when I use it. The scent however is beautiful.

My favorite bergamot fragrance is probably Bergamote Soleil, though Nio is fantastic too, but I love the brightness of the bergamot in the Atelier. I'd love to win a sample of Bergamot 22 because I've been meaning to give it a try - especially now that we're in the worst of the summer heat.

idk if my 1.5ml bottle was a bad one, but man this freakin thing stinks man, I can't stand the smell of this. I'm only just getting into these real artisan brands, so maybe my nose isn't up to par yet, but dude I'm getting physical reactions to this one lmao. This and labdanum I would avoid compared to most of their heavy hitters
There's no way Bergamote 22 would stink. It's a big, bright, fresh, juicy citrus fragrance, No way it stinks so something is off about your sample sadly. :(
