Having just lost my mother it is all too appropriate to I've run across this. What a great time for us, the boys and a whole Panic family. This is the exact reason we talk about the good old days. One Love
What a song, what a show, what a band. Miss that band so much. Used to sit in my truck for hours after pulling up to my parents house after I got the bnp. Take me back!
I love that I can relive that moment on my phone. What a wonderful run of shows. There was plenty for everyone. Ahhhhh.....another time in my life. Thanks for this post!
I was in John John Keane Studios in '01 he said at that time he didn't know how JB's voice was not shot then. He was not criticizing him. Singing 300 shows a year and the way he sings. Most people who have been through it are not in singing shape anymore.
I was surprised at home many people around me didnt know the song when they busted it out... i was going nuts but everyone else was shrugging shoulders... best they appretiate it now looking back!
All commenters on jam band videos need to refrain from the " I was at this show" bias imho. Its just like after a show you always hear at least one person saying "show of the tour" on the way out. No hassle I just appreciate honest opinions. I know people who are constantly trying to rank or compare these years to those, this lineup to that, this version over another, etc. Every single show you attend can't be the best, that's all Im saying. Just enjoy the show or don't. Enjoy what you can get while you can get it. ✌
This song and Cortez the killer are about Due for a re debut . As they haven't been performed live - Cortez 2009 , and Band on the run 2000 !!!! The fall dates look just great , and I feel that the band during this summer and fall won't dissapoint , as is usual .... You got to tell 'em that ocassionally . So that they remember to re fresh their setlist . As they've brilliantly done throughout their impecable career .... The times are a Little ' ripe ' as some say ,. but still there's time and reason to Shake up the setlist a bit onstage . Cheers friends ....
Love my Houser-era Panic and always will. Incredible they let Todd stay in the band as long as they did. Every member this band has ever had (with the exception of Todd and George McConnell) has been a straight ringer but I always thought Todd's drumming was trash. With Sonny on percussion I get that the drummer doesnt need to do much but I've never seen a drummer with such a crappy left hand and he refuses to play any fills or do anything really, I mean any bar band drummer can sit there playing a rudimentary 4/4 for 3 hours. Thank God they replaced him.
Justin Green but the drummer does do a lot, rhythm section is the driving force. I do know what you mean though, really ✌️have a great day man. Peace out 🐨
I heard schools say that TN had perfect meter. His way in the band was no drummer that tried could get Housers tempo changes and start and stop composing. Houser and Nance played music together as kids

I come back to this video - on a regular basis - and watch it over and over. One of my favorite covers in all of my Panic career. Mikey NAILED it!

The original was released 45 years ago today.

Best thing they’ve ever done. Nothing will ever compare
Doesn't get much better than this
They sure as hell delivered with this one.
Made me smile!
JB's voice back in the day was so beautiful. He didn't have to rely on the "growl" as much back then, but hey, time changes all things

His voice is stil in top shape. Listen to it on Space Wrangler album. He sang like a choir boy
Love the growl
Black jeans forever btches
I cannot agree with this. I think he's hardly changed
