Great version of this tune. I’m a huge fan of traffic, esp. Dave Mason stuff (& all the other stuff too) and Phish did a fine job with it. Put excellent Phish-y touch on it.
Lotta missed notes in the first minute from Trey. As far as FLAC that you can get from LivePhish of this song, Big Cypress is still not released so the next best one I've found is 07/06/2012 @ Saratoga Springs. Got a great tempo as many of the other versions on LivePhish are a tad fast. I like the slower funky scoot with the hard drops. Nothin will ever touch the tonal harmonics from 1999 @ Big Cypress in this thing, though. Can't wait for the whole Big Cypress show in FLAC.
Well then dont watch...phish pays homage to traffic every few years and I was lucky enuff to catch the breakout in big cypress in '99, if you've come looking for perfection go break out your vinyl, cause no one on earth is gonna beat traffic in their prime record wise....but phish could blow them off the stage live
