I love that Jake speaks with an English accent. He is a good boy who appears to be living his bestest life 😍 Adorable & clever! Your interaction with him & his with you, is a beautiful thing to see. It has got me smiling, in the early pre dawn hours of my morning. Limon, my cockatiel will be listening & learning, as I watch. Limon is over 10, he has recently begun to vocalise 🎉 in addition to whistling. He sings the following, little made up song: birdie birdie birdie, bih.. bih.. bih.. birdie followed by kiss kiss kiss (sounds) 😊 Thank you for sharing Jake with us all 🤍 🦜
Thank you very much for the lovely comments you sent. Jake is a very happy bird and we spend many happy hours together. Wishing you and Limon many happy years together he sounds amazing 😊😊🎉
@@Michael-xnxxYes there are. What you’re saying is humans are not smart because all they’re doing is repeating the sounds… birds can learn what certain phrases mean and associate names with themselves

Hi. Just wanted to thank Jake for teaching my baby Rocky how to talk. I put him on tube a few times and he liked Jake, 1 week later he is doing all the things Jake does. ❤❤Thanks Jake.
Hi Gail I'm so pleased that jake has played a part in learning Rocky to talk. Jake is very well and still chatting away for England, I'm sure you will have many happy years together like me and Jake 😊❤
You are very lucky to have such a clever friend like this✨️👼✨️. I wish you an endless delightful relationship, you understand each other and the love make you both feel happy playing together. 💖🐦🥰
As a budgie owner, I guess my definition of "clear talking" is different. But he's really good for a cockatiel, and these are awesome birds! These guys may not be the best talkers, but their whistling is second to none!
Thats funny that he does all his mimicking in a whistle chirp. My cockatiel only says "Pristy Bird" in a whistle chirp. The rest is talking grumbles and whistling songs.
Hi , jake started to try mimic what you doing within a few months, try linking words with actions, when I approached his cage every time I used to say what you doing. When I entered the room I always said hello .and he still links these words with the actions. Hope this helps have fun learning together
Jake’s a superstar-in my cockatiel’s defense, he does say “What you doing?”, but we’re light years away from speaking the words to “If you’re happy….” 😊
At 2.49 what is the theme he’s doing ? We have been trying to figure it out but can’t please let me know asap ! I think your jake is just amazing I have two they are brothers and had them since they were ready to leave momma And they do sing an talk But boy your little guy is very impressive 😍 you gotta smart birds!
Hey, it's great to see a cockatiel talk. I have a cockatiel for 3 months, and I've been trying to teach him. How did you get him to talk? And how long did he take you? I would like to know. He doesn't even attempt.
Hi , if you link words to actions it helps, when I used to open jakes cage I would always say your a good boy, then after a few months he was saying this everytime I opened his cage, I would say what you doing when I was changing his food dish and he linked that also. Once they get one word the rest come easily. I never sat repeating words over and over just linked them to actions. Hopefully this helps

I’ve never heard a cockatiel actually sing the lyrics of Happy and You Know It. Wow! Mine can barely whistle it.

Hi Carol the theme is a tune that you hear at football matches and very catchy he's doing as I text lol
I wish mine were as chatty.
Spend time with him, play with him, sing him songs and you will be rewarded, You cannot just get a bird and neglect it intellectually.
he said whatcha doing did you not hear him
