As a black dude, RDJ in black face should've removed at least 15 sins, it's a stance on blackface making fun of it, this entire movie is a spoof and every other black person I know loves this movie and him

Fun fact; Kevin Hart was almost Ala Pacino, but said something like "he movie had a lot more gay scenes when I got it" . I can't imagine how much more wild this movie would have been lol.
This movie is practically flawless. I commend Ben Stiller for having the courage(?) to make it. A scathing critique of Hollywood and actors that has only gotten better as Hollywood has been exposed as just as out of touch ,self centered and clueless as this movie shows. Also I'm black and rdj was absolutely hilarious.
For a FULL WEEK in college I woke up to Anchorman's rendition of "Afternoon Delight" stuck in my head. So, thanks for potentially restarting that again
How the mighty have fallen? So kids would be racists because of RDJ's character, but a drug dealing, cigar smoking, gang leading, warlord & kidnapper little Asian kid is fine? Obviously both are fine because it's a satirical comedy with R rating not meant for children, but you've sinned it.
1 sin for doing a long song sequence in the middle of its video. Other sin for not taking off a sin a piece for the funny fake trailers in the beginning. 4
7:24 Did you miss the part about few seconds ago where Portnoy rejoins the group w/ a goofy smile on his face? He just shot up. He wasn’t “jonesing” from heroin.
Lmao I always assumed they would never even sin this because it would be like the Rush Hour videos where it's just 20 minutes of Jeremy getting offended without even trying to make it funny or entertaining in any way.
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS EVER SINCE I WATCHED YOUR CHANNEL FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!! Seriously, thank you for an early Christmas present. But also.... you didn't remove a dozen sins for your staple outtake "What do you mean, 'you people'?" !!!!!!!!!!!!
This movie was so full of self-mockery that it seems redundant to sin it. You're literally sinning the gags and that in itself is a sin. The real sin is that this movie could never be made today, for obvious reasons.
I don’t think this works (cinemasins) with movies that are supposed to be ridiculous. It’s like going to a comedy club and challenging the comedian’s premise for a joke.
Aren't you doing that very same thing by leaving this comment? Challenging the whole premise of CinemaSins which is in and of itself a tongue in cheek thing?
One can do deliberately mocking and being ridiculous well or poorly. Saying 'its supposed to be like this' doesn't make something immune from criticism.
So the message of this video is, yes we know it's satire, but we still have to virue-signal just because. And watch out for all those kids using the r-word and dressing up like Lil Wayne
Yes, and? That's the entire premise of CinemaSins, you're just upset because it's a movie you like. Suck it up, I also love Tropic Thunder - FFS I own it on DVD - and this is hilarious.
@NobleVI_343 nothing has changed. They've always been left leaning. Always. But the point of CinemaSins is literally "we do what we want and don't give a fuck what you think". It's not meant to be taken seriously. It's meant to piss off fanboys
As per usual, someone immediately whining about political correctness as if it didn't exist in 2008. And like ppl didn't complain about things being too PC then.
And it just shows how out of touch he is. This movie did not result in kids using the word "retard" more often. That and "gay" were already extremely common insults in schools at the time this came out. It wasn't until quite some time after this that using either as an insult became widely regarded as faux pas, so even his statement about the movie deriding RDJ for saying probably isn't anywhere close to true. Jeremy's memory is about as solid as his understanding of movies. Can't even remember the history of the issues he's virtue signaling.
When I was a drug addict, I used to get off work, get high, watch this movie and eat fast food. It was almost a nightly occurrence. Now I'm sober, and haven't watched this movie since. I really need to though... it is a good movie (imo)

I saw the thumbnail and was like no…. You can’t.
The channel's honestly getting to the point where this comment is pretty much no different from the actual movie quote.
Not taking a sin off for Tom Cruise's hilarious, classic performance is definitely a sin. *ding*
Not to mention his dance scene at the end.
As a black dude, RDJ in black face should've removed at least 15 sins, it's a stance on blackface making fun of it, this entire movie is a spoof and every other black person I know loves this movie and him
I’m black and I agree with you.
Same. This movie ended blackface, though possibly took it too far and banned acting with only gay actors doing gay parts etc.
Well I think as a white guy Jeremy is very qualified to speak for other people on what's offensive (sarcasm in case it didn't read that way)
Ah yes, the lovely "as a black man" comment, that didn't take long.

True. No mention of him at all.

You get 1 sin for singing “Afternoon Delight“ and harmonizing with yourself, but you also get 1 sin removed for saying “they filmed this in Indiana”
