Both of are born and brought up in Delhi. I am maharashtrian Brahmin and my wife was Punjabi Khatri ( her family shifted from Pakistan after partition ). Such a wonderful family. Both the families jelled together after our marriage. I had the most wonderful time and both of us learnt so much about each other's cultures. I have observed all human beings are same. They want to be loved

SC/ST reservation - due to thousand years old untouchability practice, making them do menial jobs like cleaning latrine and dead bodies
OBC reservation - due to many other backward caste which faced discrimination
Gen EWS reservation - because of uplifting of poor in society
Female Quota - in universities or colleges like IIT, NIT to increase their participation

brother you kind of mistaken the premise here. true most times comedians do crowd work and sometimes there is a small harmless roast but most comedians prefer knowing and understanding the crowd that has came to watch the show before they perform their setup. knowing the audience, what they do, making little bit self deprecating on spot jokes, learning little about them and then adding those details in set that they are about to perform helps to create little healthy environment.

i have attended 8 shows in mumbai and that's what was my experience. sometimes a comedian uploads just the crowd work video for a while because he is yet to perform same set in all location that he is going to perform. agar wohi set pehle hi yt pe daal denge toh log shows pe kyu ayenge unless someone is hardcore fan. that's why for channel's relevance monthly thoda crowd work videos aa jate hai.
and once they have performed all the places they record their best performance at a good location that they feel and then they upload.
i am certainly not obligated to explain this all, but i feel if most people have that thinking it comedians sirf crowd work karte hai roast karte hai then people need to know little bit about back end stuff. as an editor i do edit videos for comedians that's also another way how i got to know all these stuff that happens off camera.

It is foolish to assess casteism on the basis of marriage which is a highly personal and familial issue. Actual casteism is being promoted by the indian constitution through "CASTE-BASED" reservation, political parties and also by people who are casteist in their social behaviour. But for social casteist practices there are strong laws such as sc-st act to deal with them. However there is no law to check the reservation-triggered casteism that is much deadlier than any other trigger. Some people say there is social casteism that's why there's reservations. But i believe that is just beating around the bush. To be frank, in reality caste based reservations will never end and it will keep ruining the lives of thousands of General category folks, especially in a state like Bihar where I come from and where government jobs matter too much since there aren't many options due to the immense lack of urbanisation, industrialisation and proliferation of IT sector. My firm belief is that General category folks much practice casteism in private jobs and education. That means, general category folks should promote/prefer other general category folks only. We don't get caste based reservations and government never supports us as much as it supports others. Plus, there is widespread hate against Brahmins throughout India. In Bihar too, there is widespread hate being generated against Brahmins and other upper castes. Upper castes must support each other otherwise we shall perish. We are on our own.
I am also from a "gaao" (village) in Bihar. My parents never taught me about caste and all, and believe me, trust me, i heard this word "caste" for the first time in my school. I was in LKG or UKG when some boys asked me for my "caste". And i didn't even know the meaning of "Caste". I am a Brahmin and all those boys who were asking for my caste were non-brahmins. This is my real life experience and yet today i see everyone abusing Brahmins for casteism as if only Brahmins are promoting casteism.

I am a brahmin and had girlfriends from Thakur, Sikh and obviously from brahmin community. Was always clear from day one that if they were the one. Will tie the knot irrespective of their caste. Change begins with you.
Brahmins marry within the Brahmin community rejecting those from others as unsuitable for marriage or other close personal relationships. Brahmins separate themselves from the rest of society by themselves. Brahmins establish their own services, and maintain their own traditions and customs. By remaining in a reserve and in isolation, Brahmins preserve their cultures intact as long and protect them. Brahmins consider others as intellectually and socially equal. Brahmins resist integrating and completely merging with surrounding populations and stay homogeneous as distinct community within societies that have other practices and beliefs. Brahmins encourages community affiliation and bonding and encourages solidarity and ensures greater control over community resources.

I offer prayers to God in brahma muhrat and evening, fast once in a week.. know to cook all satvik food.. I even know astrology And I think our karma makes us what we are not the caste...I didn't found any suitable boy till now now in my caste who would not eat Tamsik or rajas food and is spiritually as inclined as I am.. I believe , it's not our caste that makes what we are from inside but our nature, our guna and our ethics ... I also believe just because I dont have brahmin blood inside me , that doesn't mean that our children will not have brahmin sanskaar. Brahmins have done marriage with other caste people in vedic period.. Even Krishna Arranged Draupadi's marriage to Arjun who came as Brahmin ... Acc to Krishna and Geeta.. If a girl don't find suitable match in her caste, then she can find it in Brahmins... and here again, Brahmin by karma.. not like if he is a brahmin eats non veg... no .. he wont posses those qualities then.

I remember ny 3rd open mic, Pratyush sir being an amazingly supportive person, I ended up bombing badly, then a few months later I did my first line up show, jiska ticket bika tha and it was a big deal for me and I had told Pratyush sir ki aaap rehte ho to mai nervous ho jaati hu, he specially went out during my performance and came back in just to make sure I did not get conscious! You have no idea how amazing of a person hi is, ye sach mein dil sey sundar hain.

I don't think it was the impact of religion on society which he described. The impact of religion can't be assumed just because they said no to love marriage, it's definitely moreeeee than that. Also what I was trying to say by religion means insulting the religion or passing cheap comments which other comedians do very often. If you still feel that it's religious then I'm sorry, you are right.

No it's okay take away reservation but remove the caste tag no surnames no mentioning of castes on any formal or informal things then I think it's good for both. And reservation should only exists on creamy layer basis the economy basis.
