Regarding the Wonder Bread, many years ago National Geographic magazine had an article where a landfill/dump from the 1970s was excavated. A perfectly-preserved loaf of Wonder Bread was found. I always jokingly say "It's a 'wonder' that it's bread."
What a treat to see Patrick again, and also Josh and Hans, who looks totally different without the beard. You are a good man Charlie Brown. Your family is awesome. Love the way Hannah just fits in.
I am glad you help people instead of throwing everything away. I've been homeless and know how it feels to not have basic needs. It's our slow season at work so I've gone without and just started getting back on my feet from being homeless. Keep blessing people and God will continue to bless you.
Wow, Amanda that’s really great. Congratulations. It’s been snowing here for days. I live some miles to the west of Alex so can’t imagine being homeless in this town. So keep on and we’d like to her how you are doing. It’s tough out there. 🏆🏆🏆
@Cate7451 thank you so much. As much as I love the snow I work outside. I have worked outside when it's -4°F but i had to tell my boss i can't work when its that cold (i work with metal and cant wear gloves to do the work i do) and when I don't work I don't get paid, so I haven't been able to pay my bills much less get food most of the time, unfortunately. Its great when the weather is good but I didn't have money saved up since I was homeless not long before this job. I do appreciate having a place now, a job, and I was able to help some people before our slow season but I wasn't able to help as much as I wanted. Maybe once the weather is better and work picks up I can help more.
A lady friend of mine once told me something wise. She said if you don't take care of yourself first then you're no good to the people and the animals that need you (I have some retired racehorses and a dog). She went on to say don't let yourself drown or you can't be of service to anyone. So i guess what she was saying is it's not selfish to provide for yourself first because you can continue to help others if you are provided for. Keep that in mind and best wishes going forward.
My husband used to have our kids and whichever friends were at the house help him do any yard work, cleaning, dump runs etc, and the boys without dads living in their homes have thanked him for teaching them how to be a real father. Keep giving kids the training.
Alex you are so great at taking someone’s burden and making it a win-win for so many people. It is true gift that you possess and you have such a good heart. Thank you for another great mini series. Wishing you and your family all the best !
This guy seems to have led a very active and interesting life. Lots of sports (kayaking, golfing, skateboarding, etc. etc. etc.), gaming, tons of vehicles, and mechanics❤. Definitely a man’s man. at 60 he died young, but I think he must have lived hard and led a full life.
I was wondering about this man also! He led a very active life and was a very clean person and left everything in great condition and high quality. Wondering how did he die?
I just think he had a younger son who moved away. Maybe went to live in another country for school or work. Half the stuff looks like it belongs to an older outdoorsman and the other half looks like it belongs to a teenager or twenty-something person. I'm guessing that's who the one relative who lives in another country is.
Seeing Hans in the video reminded me how much of a change has happened in his life, and memory serving me right , you had so much to do with that. Thank you for showing people how much humanity needs each other. I'm always amazed what a giving soul can do to make changes. Thank you again, all of you♥♥♥♥
I have never seen a recycling center that beautiful anywhere. WOW. IVE BEEN TO CANADA TWICE, AND IVE NEVER SEEN A COUNTRY WITH NO TRASH ON THE GROUND AND NO MESS AROUND THE DUMPESTERS EVER. COODOS TO YOU CANADA YOU ARE THECLEANEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD ❤❤✝️🇺🇸😊🌴👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's always fantastic to see you working with all members of your family! It's also great to see Hans & Josh doing something to help you out as well!!!
Alex you, your family and friends have all done yourselves proud. You Alex are the king of giving. That is awesome that you wanted to give what you could to family and friends and the Ukrainians. Awesome!! Thank you!!
Great series. It's wonderful that you turned the sadness of death and the burden of clearing the material possessions of a relatively young man (i'm 60) into generosity and aide to the Ukrainian families in need. Bravo Alex, Melissa, Hans, Lubov, Gregg and everyone else involved. This is a great example of how communities should work in our society.
The specialty sockets in the beginning of your video (around the 7:40 mark) are weatherhead sockets. They are used to remove 90 degree fittings that are used in heavy equipment fuel and hydraulic systems and some other applications.
You can probably buy a torch to attach to a propane tank to melt the snow around the bbq, mower, and wheelbarrow. It will probably come in handy for another time too!!
What a fantastic series, Alex, family, and friends! It’s amazing what you accomplished for the Ukrainian families, and were so environmentally conscious as well. Thank you for the series and all your hard work once again!! 😊❤ looking forward to the next adventure! 🏍️ 🛶😃😃😄🙏🏼
Thank you for all you did to help the displaced families from Ukraine, I can't imagine what they have been through, hopefully, now they can feel somewhat at home.
Alex, you're a real menche...a person of honor, and the same goes for your wife. You didn't have to leave the house in a beautiful condition, but you both chose to. Bravo and brava!! 👍❤️
I just love how you include all of your friends, inviting to the house, then giving them things.😊 Nice to see Hans, Patrick and Josh again in your videos.
Another great job and an especially noble project. Helping the families from Urkrane. These clean up projects remind of The 3 stages of life: Wanting stuff. Accumulating stuff. Getting rid of stuff. ❤🇺🇦❤
Alex, you are a kind soul! Its so wonderful to see the old gang, Hans & Josh! OK, when is the next one! ;-) My only complaint is the series was so short!!
A job well done Alex. Great to see your kids pitching in, they are a real testament to yourself and Melissa as fantastic parents. The donations to the Ukrainian families really made this endeavour extra worthwhile.
I bought a house, that the owner left about 20 cans of paint in the basement. I called the town and asked how I would dispose of them. They said to pour all the paint into a regular old garbage bag and then put the metal cans in the recycling bin.
I'll bet there are a number of Ukrainian people there in the apartment complex who would love to do day labor at your latest project! Hope your Providence allows that!! Bless you for helping those dear people!!❤❤
You always impress me with how kind and generous you are. Well done for the great cleanup that your family and friends helped you with. Wishing the new Ukrainian families a happy and safe life in Canada.
That is a well-built, nice home. I would think it would sell quickly. A lot of work for you guys so I hope you received enough profit to make it worth your while.
Nice people doing nice things and being nice! I really enjoyed the slower pace on this one, and how more things were being carefully and thoughtfully dealt with. Still wanna see you riding that harley for awhile! I think youd look super fly on it!
Another great series! So glad to see, as always, that you recycled, reused and donated everything you could from this house. Amazing that you donated the furniture, food, household items, etc to the Ukrainian refugees, as well as raising money for them to begin their new lives in Canada. Great job!!!!
Hey Alex, I am sure some of the Ukrainians may be trained mechanics or work as handymen. You seem to have many multiple sets of tools there. Perhaps you could put together a nice set of tools for the new immigrants to use to fix things they have.
The humanity that you put into everything that you do is a lesson to us all! I do hope that you can benefit from a well-earned rest for a little while - you certainly deserve it!
Really enjoy these house cleanout series. Unfortunately it went by too fast. Looking forward to the next one. Always enjoy all the content you put out but the clear outs are my favorite.
Hans cleans up nicely! Alex, you are such a classy guy!! Love you and your family!!! You all always help others and do such a great job and treat others with love, kindness, and respect.
I love watching your house clean outs mostly because you always give to others and make sure to recycle what can be recycled. And it is nice to see that your family always helps when you need it. I am glad you got the vehicles to start and those bikes, man those are nice! Another good investment on your part.
Another great clean out series! The gentlemen that’s house it was lived a good and full life he had so many interests! He also did keep a tidy house. Thank you for sharing and caring for others❣️ I’m looking forward to your next series to come. Also love all the videos you put out!!!! Please take care and Bye for now!
The random change in all the mechanics toolchest drawers was a bit unexpected. Nothing will beat finding a silver bar under the bed at Madame Rac's, but this one was quick and fun and had an interesting assortment of stuff.
Well done, Archbold crew! Looking forward to hearing how things sell but you've made a fantastic profit from this project already. Your concern for your fellow people is marvelous.
What a wonderful gift this house turned out to be, shared so much of its contents with so many. Truly heartwarming. Now that it’s empty someone will be able to purchase this nice little house. Great job cleaning it up too, it really shines.
I grew up around mechanics so I think the epic tool sets and tool chests are the best part of the series! I would keep a lot of that... and also probably never use it I have been a fan of many of your house clearings, and think you show a good example of enjoying your hobby and being popular, but also being a person of integrity
The house looks great! I love that your family is around to help clean it all up! You could easily have just hired a house cleaner to come finish it off. or just leave it with a sweep-out. It looked positively shiny!
Actually, the walls and floors were in great condition considering the amount of stuff that was jam packed in this little house. Nice dry basement as well! Great starter home .
Thank you, what an amazing series; honoring and respecting other human beings’ treasures after they have gone to heaven. Helping Ukrainian families, friends, family members with things they need, recycling everything possible. Yes, getting your money back as you work very hard and smart to get that place ready to sell. Of course keeping the things that you need or want to better your future projects. It was nice to seen your Mom, etc. Melissa, with her own full time job and the kids with their “job” school and girlfriend working together to accomplish the same goal. Wishing you the best with the auctions.
as someone who keeps bread in the fridge cos I eat it too slowly, a year is still a crazy amount of time to have no mold. usually the bread I get keeps for about a month or two in the fridge.
Good job, Alex et al. You are great Canadians. This series was awesome. Hearing that Softail turn over makes it all worth it. Godspeed to our people from Mariupol.
Bless your heart for helping that family by clearing out their loved one's belongings. I got choked up quite a bit throughout this series, it was all so bittersweet really. And thank you for helping all the families from Ukraine! It's nice to see that one family's tragedy can be turned into something good for several other families. You and your family and your friends are truly amazing and wonderful people. What a great support system you have! Definitely something I wish I had.
I love how your wife is camera shy, but she’s beautiful. The camera loves her and we love to see your beautiful family.
Regarding the Wonder Bread, many years ago National Geographic magazine had an article where a landfill/dump from the 1970s was excavated. A perfectly-preserved loaf of Wonder Bread was found. I always jokingly say "It's a 'wonder' that it's bread."

I still can’t get used to the new Hans!
Oh Hannah is it? Yup, you would think she was a family member.
I love Hans without the beard! Or with the beard 😀
I am glad you help people instead of throwing everything away. I've been homeless and know how it feels to not have basic needs. It's our slow season at work so I've gone without and just started getting back on my feet from being homeless. Keep blessing people and God will continue to bless you.

What a good man you married.
Cheers to you and the wonderful man you married
What a wonderful, well-rounded family! Credit to you all!!
That is called good parenting. You both should be proud .
The sweater Hans is wearing was a gift from a viewer - from the episode 3 years ago in the “Home for Hans” episode!
I noticed that too. Nice gift.
Nice eye !
Well spotted
Going to ask who the other teenager was, who sounds like Hans 👍 😅🤣 great wrap up Alex, bless you and your amazing friends and family brother.
thatv was the 1st episode i saw.
How lovely to see Hans and Josh! Great job, Alex.
And Patrick
Alex you are so great at taking someone’s burden and making it a win-win for so many people. It is true gift that you possess and you have such a good heart. Thank you for another great mini series. Wishing you and your family all the best !
Wonder how Zenovia is doing?
Weird to see him without a beard! Glad to see him, though.
Good for you
You are a shining example of what is good in this world. Thank you for reminding me not to give up home in humanity yet.

Did Alex mention the age of the gentleman that lived there? I must have missed that
Exactly what I was thinking. It an interesting mixture of stuff for sure.
It would be nice to hear his story, he seemed into health and fitness, talented mechanic, sad he passed away and no one wanted his stuff.
Seeing Hans in the video reminded me how much of a change has happened in his life, and memory serving me right , you had so much to do with that. Thank you for showing people how much humanity needs each other. I'm always amazed what a giving soul can do to make changes. Thank you again, all of you♥♥♥♥
I'm glad the Ukrainian families were helped and they are safe..Thank you for updating all of us. Have a wonderful evening 🌴🍊🐊
I think i like seeing the wrap up videos as much as seeing the interesting finds from these houses! Its satisfying to see the house cleaned out!
I totally agree!
@@CuriosityIncorporated Did you check the attic?
Hans looks great w/o facial hair. He looks so much younger. You have a great group of friends. You also a a gift for giving. Blessings my brother

I sure do like that Harley thank you Alex for helping so many people 😊
It's always fantastic to see you working with all members of your family! It's also great to see Hans & Josh doing something to help you out as well!!!
Each time Hans appears on a video he seems to get younger and younger.... maybe it's his always sunny disposition 🌞
My thought as well! There's a young looking guy under that beard!
An excellent episode, tying up loose ends...and and all-star supporting cast. Roll the credits!
Alex you, your family and friends have all done yourselves proud. You Alex are the king of giving. That is awesome that you wanted to give what you could to family and friends and the Ukrainians. Awesome!! Thank you!!
Awesome upcycling things which could have been. Just thrown away. Blessings all around you being shared.
That's why they call it Wonder bread....you wonder how it never goes bad! Lol
You and your family are such a blessing may you always be blessed.

Your kids have grown so much since I started watching you. What a great family!

This gave me goosebumps. I wish I had money to give, but I'm so very happy for everything you and the family online were able to do to help.
Same here. I Pray for the Ukrainian Citizen's Daily as well as ALL People Hurting In The World 🌎🙏.
Love the recycling mindset!!!

The house looks a lot better than some of the houses I have moved into !
Another job well done! 💓💘💝💖❤watching your videos, thank you for sharing and have a great day!
Give us an update on how you made out. You’re making a lot of people smile.
Really glad so much money has been raised for the families! Bravo everyone!
Glad to hear the good news about the Ukranians. Thank you Alex's family!
The throbbing sound of a Harley. Nothing else like it. Great wrap up video!

Congrats on wrapping up another successful House series! I’m calling this one “The Hercules House”.👍
I really appreciate the culture of limited waste in your videos. Showing viewers how to responsibly manage their own stuff in the process!
Thanks now I have a craving for cabbage rolls at 10am in Memphis Tennessee.
Great job! Always enjoy you and yours.
You do good work! Nice that you go the extra mile 👏
You're lucky to have so many friends to help!!
Always love to watch a clean out! You do so much good!

ha ha ha The best part of this is when Alex gave Josh that remote car. lolol
If you ever find any Hazet tools??
KEEP THEM!
AMAZING how much work you get done while holding the camera.
Indeed. He single-handedly cleared out this house!

I know your family must feel so satisfied, because, for me, it was satisfying to watch these videos. BRAVO!
In the two years since I last checked in on Curiosity Inc, your kids have all shot up to darn near adulthood. Strangely I was not expecting that.
I wasn’t expecting it either and I see them every day :)

Love the motorcycle. 💙
Loving the way you’re repurposing so much of the contents of the house. If not for you then for your friends. Very little was wasted 😁
Cabbage rolls are nice, normally stuffed with meatloaf
Outstanding Achievement!!! Everybody wins!!! 🤗❤️🇨🇦

Hi-dee-hoo Alexander! Good luck with your auction! 😊
Hey, thanks!
Alexander,
That was "sort of" and "No" one.
Old age is my excuse...argggggghhh!

Good job, Alex et al. You are great Canadians. This series was awesome. Hearing that Softail turn over makes it all worth it. Godspeed to our people from Mariupol.
